Quiet, discreet, elegant, small establishment. Located in the 'outback' of France, this is the place to come if you're looking for pleasant hikes, fascinating medieval cathedrals and no crowds (and no tourist scourge). Dinner comes with the rate, and its because there really isn't a restaurant scene anywhere nearby (which was terrific by us). Food was delicious, wine list a bit limited but fine. We started with Gin and Tonics in the garden, then sauntered into the dining room around 7:30 each evening (we're American early eaters). Service was impeccable and not intrusive. Among the best Relais & Chateaux we've ever stayed in.
