My husband and I had not been away alone in almost 10 years. Since we have little ones, we wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate our anniversary, but still be close to home. Every positive review you will read here on tripadvisor on The Maplestone Inn is true. The Inn met or exceeded every single expectation of what you would want for a romantic, peaceful getaway. We felt immediately at ease with the gracious manner of the innkeepers Sean & Patty. It would be fair to say that the presentation of and the quality of the breakfast are on par with our dining experiences in 5 star resorts we have stayed in, The breakfasts were out of this world period. We found our inn companions to be pleasant company at breakfast, and at the same time everyone, including the inn keepers respect each others privacy. Our Tucker Room was ABSOLUTELY spotless and I am a picky person when it comes to these matters. It was also decorated nicely, and very comfortable. Sean went to great lengths to make sure we were aware of all that the New Paltz area had to offer, even drawing a map to the Mid-Hudson Bridge for us. We also would suggest Beso for a wonderful dinner and Mexicali Blue for a quick lunch in town. We cannot wait to return to The Maplestone Inn and to New Paltz. Our goal is to visit during every season, and next time take advantage of the many outdoor activities the area has to offer!

Our son will be attending SUNY New Paltz in the Fall and we stayed at the Maple Stone Inn during his July Orientation. It was an inspired choice. Sean and Patty brought coffee to our room and served breakfast early so that we could attend the Parent Orientation sessions on campus. The food was phenomenal, our room was spacious and beautiful and the Inn is very convenient to the town and campus. There was excellent internet access that allowed my husband to attend to a work related problem. We received great suggestions for dinner (Sean made reservations for us) and for places to visit nearby. We have already made reservations to return for Parents' Weekend in October!!

“Perfect B&B”

My wife and I had a great weekend at the MapleStone Inn. The building, a renovated farm house, was charming, the bedroom/bathroom/sitting room suite was extremely comfortable (and spotlessly clean), and the breakfasts, precededed by coffee delivered to our room, were delicious. Our hosts were gracious and accomodating, and provided helpful information to assist us in planning our activities in and around New Paltz. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed in Maplestone Inn for 2 nights, July 3 to 5. Sean and Patty are the perfect hosts for such a beautiful B&B. Patty is certainly top chef for us. My husband and I would savor every bite of her well-thought out breakfast menu. One can tell that whoever does the cleanliness inspection has very exacting standards as the whole place was spotless. Personally, I am particular with shower facilities. The bathroom tiles were immaculate. All in all, this is a place we would love to return to. I'm sure we will find other reasons to stay at the Maplestone Inn sometime in the future. So, Patty and Sean, thank you for a truly wonderful experience. We couldn't have had a better stay at the Maplestone Inn. Our hosts were gracious, our room was lovely and comfortable, and the food was amazing. We had a great time hanging out in New Paltz, touring the grounds of the Maplestone Inn, and relaxing in the comfortable living area and playing Scrabble.
