we stayed over a weekend and just felt right at home....friendly innkeepers and other guests as well (and isn't that one of the reasons one stays at a b&b vs. a hotel)....nice commons area to relax in (fireplace) and although we didn't take advantage of it, the hot tub looked inviting (we forgot our bathing suits and didn't want to scare the other guests - ha ha). accessible kitchen, deer in the backyard and yummy yummy breakfasts (enough to power us over 2 days of mountain biking) & location: very close to minnewaska & mohonk trailheads.....

We can't say enough about how nice an experience it was staying at The Mountain Meadows B and B. When We arrived we were greeted by Art and Corinne at the front door and after talking with them over an unbelievable breakfast We regretted not staying longer. Our room was very nice ( the ivory room ) as were the rest of them. Meeting Baxter ( the basset hound ) was a pleasure and everything about the place reminded you of being at a loved ones home. We were there for less than 24 hrs. and left feeling like We knew them for yrs. When we left Corinne gave both of us a big hug and wished us the best with our future family to be and Art opened the gate and gave us a heart felt good bye. My wife said to me when we left if she didn't hug me, I was going to hug her, now you don't find people like that everyday. Enjoy your well deserved vacation guys and Thanks again. My boyfriend and i stayed at Mountain meadows this weekend and loved it!
Corinne and Art - the owners - are very sweet accomodating people that made us feel at home and welcome in the pretty B&B, their Doggie - Baxter is also so cute : )
They were very knowledgable and were happy to recommend us of places to visit in the area and of places to eat.
The breakfast was very tasty and when Corinne handed us a bag with muffins to take with us after breakfast, i felt even more at home : )
We will deffinitely try to come by again soon for another very relaxing laid back weekend and i would deffinitely recommend this place to friends.

My husband and I came up to New Paltz to enjoy a weekend of relaxation and some time outdoors. Mountain Meadows is in a very convenient location - close to town and close to the Gunks/state park. When we arrived Art and Corinne made us feel so at home. They set us up in our room and gave us the grand tour which included a kitchen stocked with snacks (including homemade pumpkin bread, wine, sodas, etc.), an outdoor hot tub (which we were told was available for our use 24 hours a day), and the recreation room complete with pool table, television, local sightseeing information, and a couch that sat directly across from a beautifully burning fire. Art and Corrine have truly mastered the ability to offer top-notch hospitality while giving guests a sincere feeling of privacy and quiet time.
Our room was very tastefully decorated (we stayed in the tropical room) and was a very nice size with a private bathroom (that was stocked with body washes and shampoo). The room was exceptionally clean and bedding/pillows, etc were very comfortable.
The next morning we awoke to the smell of warm muffins baking in the oven and were given the choice of any type of omelet our hearts desired, homemade waffles, freshly baked poppy seed bread with three types of jam, a delicious baked apple with fresh whipped cream and a vast array of juices, coffees and teas.
Overall, I'm looking forward to our next stay here!!
