When you feel stressed, or just plain tired of everything, take yourself to this beatufil place that is actually in the meadows viewing the Mohonk Moutain. It is like a small piece of earth that is waiting for you to come and relax, or if you are peppy take a hike or pick apples, or climb and explore the area. The house is warm and nicely decorated, with a fireplace, pool table, and full kitchen for guests, there is a heated pool for summertime and a hot tub for all year round.
From this place you look up and see stars, I mean the real kind, all over. The owners are a wonderful pair, they're warm and helpful with anything that you'll like to know. The breakfast is full and all home made. You really get pampered and don't feel like this is a business, you feel like you went to stay with family. We stayed in many B&Bs but loved this one as one of the best!

There is a reason there are no photos of this B&B on their website. It is basically a 60's ranch style house with the decor stuck back in the 70's. The room was clean and basic, I just couldn't get past the fact that it hasn't been updated for 30 years. The food was very good and the location was great. We managed to have a good time but jeez update the place a little!

We had a wonderful experience in Mountain Meadows. The location was excellent, just a couple of minutes away from the Mohonk Mountains and the main town of New Paltz. When we first arrived there, the owners were very friendly and made us feel at home with their fresh baked cookies, muffins, wine, beer, apple cider...they had it ALL!! The heated pool and Jacuzzi were very much appreciated after our long day of hiking. The best part was they allowed us to swim as late as we wanted! In addition, the property is beautifully decorated with gardens, bird feeders, hummingbirds hovering around the pool area...very romantic! We can't wait to go back!

My wife and I took a weekend trip for our first anniversary, and Mountain Meadows was just what we wanted - secluded, comfy, and good food. Corrine and Art were friendly and gave us good recommendations of where to eat in the area. We took full advantage of the pool and the hammock in the garden, and Corrine's yummy Havarti Baked Eggs.
Our only complaint is the mattress in the Rose Room was a little lumpy.
