“Great Pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stopped in here on a Friday night, the place was quiet and the service was very good. Most important the pizza was great. Nice atmosphere and fresh ingredients.

“A sad decline in quality.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We have been to Grimaldi's numerous times in the past 6 months. Tonight our pie was burned (scorched, black) on the bottom. The cheese was oddly rubbery. We couldn't eat it. We got home with it and called to let them know. The girl who answered said the manager was busy and couldn't speak with us. We used to like this place, wouldn't go back now.

“Excellent Pizza, friendly service if a bit slow at points.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

Went in a party of 7, had salads, fries, and two pizzas- one veggie, the other with meat. The house salad is big enough to share between two people and the dressing is tasty- some sort of vinegrette I think. The fries were quite good, although the ketchup bottle was extra crusty on the top. The pizza was excellent- thin crust, good flavor combinations (sausage, sweet peppers and mushrooms) and there was a wide variety of toppings we could have chosen.
The wait staff was nice- but it took them a bit to get wine glasses and water to the table. However they stocked both white and red wine glasses, quite impressive. You can bring your own wine, but there is a corking fee. We'd forgotten our cork screw but the staff was willing to open it for us.
From our table we could see the staff twirling the dough into shape- pretty cool!

The staff we're really awesome when we brought out the cake for the lady we were celebrating- bringing us plates, fresh silverware and a huge cake knife.

I'd highly recommend this place.

“Great Pizza - awful service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

This place has great pies, the ingredients are fresh, the dough is great, and the presentation of the pizza is excellent .
When you walk in there is nobody there to seat you, the wait staff walks right by like your not even there. Then when you get someone's attention they look around looking for a place to seat you. This has happened on all 3 times I have been there. Sometimes people walk out because no one greets them and they are ignored.
The wait staff has little or no training, every time we had to wait 15 minutes after we were done eating to get a check.
Good thing they have fantastic pizza or this place wouldn't last 2 months
