We stayed here for a few nights and I've got to say, without exception, the best place I have ever stayed. The setting was amazing and SO quiet, our room was spotless, huge and incredibly comfortable. Despite all of this, which would have been fantastic on its own, our hosts were absolute legends! Nothing was too much trouble and they were so welcoming and made you feel like you were in your own home. They didn't just go the extra mile they went the extra 100! Petra made awesome breakfasts and hot chocolate will never the taste the same after having hers (I am very sad about this as I have no idea how to make it myself!). If you do one thing go and stay here - we're definitely going it be back it's completely worth the flight from the UK to solely stay here. Look out for the gnome book (it's very informative!). Thank you guys, you made our holiday! I've been telling everyone about you and that they have to head over. Love from the English Girls!

The hosts Petra and Mike are warm and exude a positive and healthy aura that makes for a delightful stay. Only three guest rooms is nice. The hot tub, covered porch, stone patio, and generous windows made excellent spots to watch the many deer we saw. The pond in the back yard is neat. Everything was super clean and serene Five miles from downtown but very close to Mohonk. During a motorcycle trip, my dad and I stayed in room3 up the spiral stair which had two beds and a triple wide panoramic window with a view. Beds were excellent with very high thread count sheets. Breakfast and tea were superb. Why stay in a boring hotel downtown when this charming place is available. Thanks Petra and Mike!

I absolutely love this place! It's nicely tucked away in the serenity of a lovely forest neighborhood, which naturally put you at delightful ease upon your arrival. Yet it is less than 10 minutes of driving from New Paltz downtown, Mohonk House and Preserve, and the Gunks, awesome location! Petra keeps a beautiful home, completely clean and comfortable, and lights up the place with her warm hospitality. Petra makes great delicious healthy organic breakfast - oatmeal or zucchini pancakes - and plenty of good coffee to kick off my day of rock climbing in the gunks. I feel completely at home when I visit! That's why I keep coming back!!!
