Very disappointed with this accommodation. It stated that this Lodge had been renovated. Rooms were dirty and reeked of cigarette smoke, sockets hanging from the walls, bathrooms dingy and mildewed! Continental breakfast to be supplied, little food available, power kept going off in dining area, had to feed the baby muffins in water for breakfast! Area was fine, but very disappointed with accommodation.

Stayed 1 night- Charged $150. Run down, bad neighborhood- people making lots of noise in the parking lot at all hours. Kids making noise early morning. Dryer broken.
Pathetic breakfast. Avoid this place- only stayed because had business and all other places were booked. Will stay in a different town next time. Monticello very run down.

Rooms, were terrible shape, needs to be revnovated. the service was terrible. offered continetal breakfast which was a mini muffin. coffee was so weak. looks nice from outside, inside looks like the bates hotel. My daughter wouldn't even take a shower.

This motel is in a depressed area. There are people living in the rooms and no one owns a car. The parking lot adjoins a parking lot for a Recovery Center. It cost us for one nights stay but we were afraid and so we left. We chose this motel because it is part of the CHOICE HOTELS chain. This place is a disgrace to the CHOICE HOTELS name and to Econo Lodge. We should have checked with TripAdvisor first.
