My wife booked our stay based on the tempting pictures on the web site. Based on our stay, I'd say that the class action lawsuit for false advertising is due any day. The room was NOT FINISHED. That didn't stop them from charging full price, however.
When we arrived, the main office wasn't staffed. We called the number taped to the door, and eventually, the manager drove up fresh from an afternoon out swimming.
The room was filthy. The "blinds" over the windows were sheets of paper that had been glued on! The fan in the bathroom was literally held in place with duct tape. The lock on the sliding door leading to the tiny "deck" had screws missing -- anyone could have broken into our room. Worse, the room was filled with spiders! They were migrating from the lake into a room that was not sealed properly. I spent half the night swatting the evil [--].
And let's get something straight -- there is a difference between "minimalist" and "empty". There were NO amenities. No phone, no television, no room service, no shelving, no cupboards -- all for luxury prices. What furniture there was was straight from the bargain bin at Ikea.
There was a bar & grill attached to the complex. I can't tell you how the food was as it remained closed the entire time we were there.
We were so disgusted by the accommodations that we cut our vacation short. Avoid this dump like the black plague.
