We returned to the Ronjo after 35 years when we had taken our children. Obviously nothing had been renovated, painted or repaired after 35 years. There were holes in the wall, mirrors on the floor, broken chairs, and severely worn furniture. Dust had emitted from the carpet enough to choke you. There were empty soda cans and other garbage on the deck that had not been picked up during the three days we were there. The pool was dirty and there was no sign it was closed (if it were). Upon arrival, we complained to the manager upon seeing the rooms, he showed us two more rooms which were no better.
We had to stay for the first night and when we asked the manager for our money back to check out for the second night, he refused.
The rates were $131 per night for the last weekend in September.
