We saw an ad in The Room Saver magazine and thought the price was right as thou we were checking in late and getting up early. The picture attached to this search is very deceiving. That is not the hotel we pulled up to. There was no pic in the ad. When we pulled in we were very hesitant but thought we would check it out. The advertised $55.00 room was actually $129.00. The desk woman was rude and the two other people in the dingy front desk area were very creepy looking and seemed to be loitering and using the free internet. We left quickly and didn't look back!

Booked this for a trip to visit family, based on the pics it looked like it had been updated and renovated. I want to know where the rooms in the pictures were! This place seems more like a transient hotel rather than someplace to stay for a vacation. There were people sitting in front of their rooms drinking and smoking almost every afternoon, the cleaning staff wore nothing to identify themselves and pushed linens and other room supplies in grocery carts. The heating / ac unit in the room was disgusting! My friend literally went and bought Lysol to clean it because any time you turned it on dirt, dust, and a foul odor streamed from it. This place may have potential if it is ever renovated to match the pictures on the site, but right now it looks like it could be featured on an episode of Intervention.

We were traveling for 13 days, and this was the only time I was scared in the U.S. My room was decent, but my friend had a room in the back and it smelled like dry cleaning fluid. It was really bad!! Old and musty too. We had a very big gap in our door that we stuffed with a towel. Any small critter could have slipped in. Would not recommend this hotel. They served compliementary breakfast but the lobby did not look very clean.

We usually stay at this hotel when traveling to the Albany area. Rooms are usually very clean. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms remodeled fairly recently. They offer a basic quick continental type breakfast (coffee, cereal, toast, pastry, etc.). Pool is nice in the summer. Rooms are HUGE. No particular handicapped rooms, however all rooms appear to be wheelchair accessible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I believe an airport shuttle is available (although we have never used it.). High speed wireless internet, basic satellite tv with HBO. Beside a microwave and coffee maker, there is a refrigerator in every room which can be convenient. Close by many restaurants and attractions. I cannot really think of anything on the negative side. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for single night or short stays.
