Stayed in the new section, non-smoking as a last minute affordable find in the Ithaca area. Arrived late after midnight, clerk checked us in quickly,without hassle, pointed un in the direction to our rooms. The room was very nice. Clean throughout, comfortable beds. Coffee maker in room made a good cup in the AM. The pillows were my only complaint as they were cheap foam types. But everything was great for a mere $79.75 per night!

I have read the reviews of the old section across the court. It does look older but this review is limited to the new section.

Room was very dirty! People at the front desk unfriendly. When I booked it I asked for the new section which they told me was available. When I got there, they said that the new section was an additional $40/night. We stayed in the old section and wish we hadn't . Wouldn't recommend.

We arrived to find the hotel lobby very small and dimly lit.The attendant behind the desk stood there with no expression, not even enough to acknowledge our arrival. When we spoke to greet him he did not respond.We had a reservation booked through an online travel website.The attendant at the hotel seemed unsure of which room was assigned to us .After some time he finally picked a room and then asked for a $100 damage deposit which would be held for 7 days. We refused to agree to that as it sounded suspect. Our room was in a section of the hotel where the rooms were accessed from the outside. When we got to our room not only was the door unlocked but it was ajar. On entering the room we found most disgusting accommodations. The carpet had many large stains. The bathroom had no vanity, just an old fashioned sink which was supported on one side by a makeshift wooden spindle. The bathtub was dirty and there was fecal material on the toilet seat. When we saw that we knew we could not stay there so we decided to call the online agency. The phone was so filthy I hated the very thought of picking it up. When we tried to make an outgoing call we could not , so we contacted the front desk of the hotel ,only to be told that the phones are usually turned off because they were not free. After asking for the phone to be connected so we could make a call we explained the situation to the online booking agency and were very grateful that they allowed us to cancel the booking and gave us a refund.
We have never seen such filthy,deplorable accommodations and would strongly advise others to stay away from this hotel.

We searched for days before we found the Meadow Court Inn. The only hotel within a 50 mile radius of Ithaca NY, with a rooms available for less than $500 per night; but it was still pricey! We paid more than it would cost to stay in Manhattan, at the Hilton Garden Hotel just off Broadway.

My recommendation - Do NOT Stay here! Charter a small plane or, drive 100 miles each way before you stay at this hotel. Whatever you need to do to avoid this experience, just do it! !
