I have never stayed in a Country Inn and Suites before. The front desk staff were very friendly.

The lobby looked nice but the room was sort of dreary and the housekeeping could have been better. The room just needed to be repainted and updated but heck its just a hotel room I guess. Walls are thin and its a bit noisy. There is an outback across the street which was very convenient. It was OK but I wouldnt go out of my way to stay here again.

First day...light in bathroom blinking on and off, tub will not drain, coffee to make coffee in the 4 cupper but no cups. Seconda day...coffee that I made but could not drink due to no cups is still in carafe and no new coffee. I am in a smoking room, butts still in ash tray. Thirds day...no coffee. Fourth day not so bad, I have coffee but ashtray or coffee carafe have not been washed. Fifth day...no internet for 5 hours, nothing has been cleaned. I really should have stayed at the Hampton up the road 500 feet.

We booked this hotel because it was after our trip to Niagara Falls and broke up our drive to NYC. Didn't know anything about this area. I was very happy with this choice. The hotel is very clean and updated. There were two other hotels down the street but cost more per night. There is a grocery store and other stores right down the street which made it very convenient to fill our cooler. Our two kids loved the pool and hottub. Will definately stay here again if we're in that area.

I have used this hotel a couple of times in the past for business, but this last time will be the last time. Over the course of a couple of months I received numerous e-mails from two different desk clerks, both of whom never correctly took the information I provided and applied to the situation. My booking was for a block of rooms to be paid by each person as they arrived.

Upon arrival, each guest was provided with different information relative to billing, it was so screwed up that I placed everything on my card just to get out of there the following morning. A few of my associates stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which is not far from the Country Inn. They had to drive a bit further to our ultimate destination but had no issues and did enjoy a lower cost. Working with the staff of the Country Inn was similar to a root canal without Novocain.

Now, on to the good part. Once in my room I noticed that the cleanliness level had declined since my last stay. A chunk of candy stuck under the bathroom door, dusty carpet perimeter and the additional treat of toe nail clippings and mystery plastic (hair piece?) behind the night stand (see picture)

On a positive note, the breakfast bar is very good, as is the parking. The Outback Steak House across the street, is within walking distance and has always provided me with a great meal. I'm not totally against this place but they really need to clean up their act.
