I have stayed here on many occasions for business and pleasure and I can only assume that when things go well the staff are awesome. But we all know the true test is how you deal with things when they go wrong. 1) Lisa kept me on the phone for 45 minutes on Saturday I didn't mind as she was making my reservation or so I thought. She was extremely busy and I was extremely patient. 2) I came in today after 5 hours ride to find there was no reservation. Luckily the young lady on the desk found me a room for which I will be eternally grateful. She was lovely and I didnt get her name. However no luck for tomorrow or Wednesday. I went down the road and checked in to another hotel for the rest of the week. When I informed Kim that I was a lone traveller and could not rely on there being a cancellation for tomorrow so had to book into another hotel for the rest of the week, she was very snooty and incredibly sullen. Just what I needed at this stressful time when I was extremely close to tears. As I say when things go well they are tremendous when things go bad they are defensive and less than useful. Will never stay here again which is a terrible shame. The old staff were much better.
