Stayed here to be close to Flea Market over the 4th of July Weekend. We stayed Friday and Saturday. Room was basic 2 beds, bathroom and refrigerator, dated interior, small, thin towels; you know you’re not staying in the best place. Keep your shoes on kind of place. We checked in late and had to ask for additional towels, the attendant rather have a personal phone conservation than to help me. We left at 4 am and returned later that night to a not serviced room, bed and towels as we left them. When to the front desk and waited again for the personal phone call to end. I asked if the room was to be cleaned while we were out, attendant said yes it was, You must have put the do not disturb sign up, no there’s not one in the room. Oh we have new people working; they must have forgotten your room…
When asked if someone would be in to clean the room I was told no they left for the day…I was asked if I wanted to check out, althogh I would be be changed, beacuse it was pasted check out time. No I need a place to stay and if I’m going to be charge I need you to fix my room. Sorry no one here to help you. I will put a note in the computer so my manger knows what happened. Ok I understand not everyone has the authority to offer a new clean room, but I asked if I would be changed, yes of course I cannot change that. I asked once again more clean towels for the night.
The party from the banquet hall erupted in screams and shouting, and fighting outside. I called and the front desk said they knew about it sorry nothing we can do at this time.
I asked not to be changed for the night of He!! , The manager called two days later and offered A $20.00 discount! After much discussion she agreed to a $40.00 discount. I felt that the room for Saturday night should have been complementary, and I was told by the manager, “At least it was not a stranger’s unmade bed you slept in.” The manager said she would call the owner and request an additional discount. Three days later I received a call and the owner said sorry no additional discounts were going to be given. Really! that’s no way to run a business.
I would never stay there again. No one should ever stay here.
