My wife and I stayed here on Jun 10. Due to our schedules we only were able to get away for one night. The Stonegate B & B was perfect as they allow one night weekend stays! We found it right here on tripadvisor and the reviews are all correct! The house is beautiful and well kept. The innkeepers, Neil & Jane, were very nice. The room we had (Illinois Mountain View Room) was very nice with a large comfortable bed and large bathroom. Everything was very neat and clean and well kept. The house is nicely furnished and has a very comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit and muffins, pancakes, egg frittata, bacon, juice and coffee. I would definetly recommend this hidden gem (thats how we found it) to anyone staying in this area. It is minutes away from all the Hyde Park sights and the Culinary Institue of America!

This place is about 15 minutes from New Paltz. Initally I wanted to stay in town, and I am very glad I didn't. I think this place is a much better option than most of the B&B's in NP. The house is very well decorated and extremely clean. Neil and Jane were very hospitable and organized. They seemed to anticipate our every need. Lastly, everyone in my family loved breakfast, especially the homemade quiche/casseroles and muffins.

We just returned from a 5-night stay at Stonegate. Our room and breakfasts exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished and always clean. Our bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was surprisingly huge. Breakfasts were eagerly anticipated each day which included quiches, frittatas, baked muffins and breads and fresh fruit. Neil and Jane were very helpful in recommending places to visit and/or dine. We were so comfortable, it was kind of sad to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay on April 30, 2011. The suite was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Jane and Neil were very hospitable as well.
