Our second stay at the Aztec Report Motel proved to be even nicer than our first visit in 2010. As soon as I entered the room, I felt at ease. Everything was clean, bright and well cared for. The room even smelled clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the white wicker furniture was pretty. Linens all looked brand new.

The staff was super friendly, and once again, they provided great coffee and delicious biscotti every morning.

Reasonably priced and just a block from the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk. Plenty of parking, and restaurants nearby if you don’t feel like driving.

And I’ll say it again: clean!!! We love the Aztec!

Once again it was a pleasure to stay at the Aztec, we even called and was able to add a day and go on vacation longer and early. Only 1 block from the beach and 2 from the boardwalk. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. I look forward to staying aganin next season

We stayed in the sister property, the Buttercup Suites, located behind the Aztec. It was a 2-bedroom suite with sofa bed and efficiency kitchen.

Pros: It was quite roomy and the kitchen had microwave, fridge, small stove, toaster, coffee maker. There were 3 TV's which was a nice extra. It was located on a pretty quiet street and very close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms were very clean.

Cons: I found the mattresses to be uncomfortable. I slept on the sofa bed instead. If I stayed here again, I would bring a mattress topper. The bathroom is a bit small. If you have kids, be careful near the gas stove. You can just barely bump into the stove knobs and they turn on.
