My son and I stayed at the Armada in late September 2011 in a type C unit (two room with kitchenette). Upscale property, next to the beach, with separate climate control in the front/back and a real four burner stove (cooktop/oven) in the kitchenette. Great view southward from the top floor, where our room was located. The kitchenette worked fine for preparing all of our meals, including hot biscuits in the morning (you need to bring/buy your own bakeware; otherwise, kitchenette has adequate pots/plans/etc.). There was sufficient room in the bedroom to set up my son's crib. I slept in the front room on a real bed (not a hide-a-bed couch) - nice and comfortable. The motel's wireless system did not interact properly with a Linux laptop, my one less-than-ideal part of an otherwise very enjoyable stay. Hopefully this problem will be fixed for the 2012 season. The pool was very nice - unusually pleasant warm temperature, the warmest pool we've been in during the off-peak season at the Wildwoods during several years of visits.

My husband and I stayed recently at the Armada by the Sea motel at the crest. It was our first time with this motel. It was wonderful. rooms were neat, clean and well equipped. We had an oceanview room and it was beautiful, not only did we get the awesome view of the ocean but also the park, which was lovely, very well kept. The staff/personnel couldn't have been nicer and very accommodating. So friendly and welcoming! We are sure to be returning next year.

My boyfriend and his family have been staying here for a long, long time - at least 20 years they've been coming in the month of June, for a week. Every. Year.

I've experienced this tradition two times so far, and now I'm starting to get infected. This place is really wonderful. It's in an awesome location on the beach, and its in just the right area to avoid the noise and hassle of being by the boardwalk. During the day, leave your door wide open, and let the sea breeze in. Sit on the balcony, read, and listen to the ocean. When you feel like, go lay on the sand, then swim in their pool for as long as you'd like.

It's very approximate to everything, including great restaurants, and a bike rental place. You can bike down to the boardwalk in the morning, which is also a great, fun thing to do.

The rooms themselves are just right. The beds and linens/comforter could be softer, but they clean it everyday and the bathroom is nice. The TV gets a lot of channels and the AC can get very, very cold!

This place has everything and its just the right price. It's clean, family friendly, close to the beach. I think the fact that my boyfriend's family has been returning for longer than I've been alive can attest to this place.

My friends and I stayed at the Armada by the Sea with our 6 kids and had the time of our lives. great location and friendly guests made a perfect combination for an end of the summer blast. We will be returning again next year and i am already looking forward to it. Rooms were comfy, you can bbq by the pool and just relax!!
