This cute family owned place was a real pleasure to stay at, nice and clean, friendly atmosphere, quite rooms, right at the beach. Will definitely come here again!

I stayed at the Barcelona Motel and had a great experience. It's a family-run business and they take great pride in making sure that your stay is as comfortable as it can possibly be. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, great pool to cool off in, right on the beach and rooms at a VERY reasonable price... you really can't beat it! I'd definitely stay here again, and hopefully for a longer period of time next time :)

My family has just spent 3 beautifully sunny days (9, 10. 11 August) in Wildwood Crest at Barcelona Motel. Even though the price was a bit high as far as my budget was concerned, we managed to have a very good time there "in revenge"!!! Our room was clean and comfortable enough for 6 six people and a 8-year-old child. Beach is only 5 minutes away from the motel. Ocean wind blows nicely through the corridor. All in all, we had a great time and would certainly consider to stay again!

The room looked clean..but once we checked in..we noticed a lot of black mold and water damage on the ceiling. The wallpaper had a lot of scuff marks and needed a good wiping down. The doors and trims were very very dirty and need painting. While this doesn't seem like a big deal, it could have made a big difference. It just seemed liked who ever cleaned just didn't care, this made us feel uncomfortable. The pool was dirty and lots of sand on the bottom. The Barcelona used to be the best hotel, the management is still friendly, but it needs a freshing up.
