This has been the worst experience I have had staying at a hotel. The room was okay besides the fact that it smelled like smoke when it was supposed to be a non smoking room. Then I was charged $107 for smoking in the room in which never occurred. They reduced the price and make up for it later by adding bogus charges. I would recommend staying at a nicer hotel and paying the right price instead of getting stuck with a bill you didn’t expect in the first place. Damn rip offs. I'll make sure to report them to the better business bureau.

We try to stay at Holiday Inn Express when traveling with two small children. We have come to expect the "expected" and makes the trip easier. When looking for a hotel in Philadelphia we came upon this Holiday Inn which looked like a good bet. A few things immediately popped out to us. The pool area is a big rough and appears not to had a good scrubbing in some time. The bathrooms off the pool have very large dead bugs in the light covers in the ceiling and the floors appear to not have been cleaned in a few months. Actually the entire pool area is again in need of a very big cleaning.

The front desk area and night desk clerk was very accommodating. When we booked on line they only had smoking rooms but he was about to find us a non-smoking room for 5 nights for which we really appreciated his efforts.

The room is fine if you don't look too closely. The sheets and towels are nice and clean but the bathroom could definately use some attention. We have spider webs in the corners and again it just needs attention to detail.

I am not an overly picky person but I think this hotel could go from Average to really Good if a little more attention was paid to overall cleaning.

A little hard scrubbing would go along way in our eyes.

My kids and I stayed here one night while on a road trip. It was clean and comfortable. We had excellent customer service when we checked in. Breakfast was good with something for everyone.

Horrible experience and terrible customer service!!!The reception ladies are more suitable for a prison then hotel. We stayed as a group of 10+ families for soccer tournament and all regretted it. Never Again.
Confirmation: Called multiple times to e-mail me a reservation receipt - never got it.
Check-in: In my 1st room the bathroom fan did not work. After timely argument I was offered another room where not only the fan did not work, but also AC was not working. At the end the girl at the front desk just threw the keys to a 3rd room over the desk.
Check-out: I paid with AAA and was charged more than others without the AAA so I asked to remove the "AAA discount" but she told me there is nothing she can do, no manager on duty or accessible, supervisor advised to wait (could not wait any longer due to the tournament) or I will be charged another night. I was told to leave or she'll call a police. HORRIBLE!!!!!
