“Skiing in about 1hr from NYC. Love it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

My wife and I have been coming here for about 15 yrs. We bought a timeshare and have stayed at the condos as well as the log cabins (which are fabulous, rustic and has a gorgeous lake). We liked it so much that we bought a condo, refurbished it and now rent it through the hotel. We still come up at least once a month

“Luncheon at Kites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

With a well prepared and well served luncheon, a traveler will dine at a stylish venue and restaurant, Kites. To be seated with a good view by polite servers starts that adventure. On the menu we see a rich variety of offerings to suit any palate or mood. Favorites for beer, ale and wine are quickly served. Waiters are courteous and neat. Surroundings of stone and varnished wood capture style of a country inn to set a mood of ease to comfort a visitor with a few moments to relax and enjoy fresh, well presented food on elegant tables. This lunch was memorable.

“a hidden gem...”

-truly a hidden gem of a resort with great staff and un matched facilities for activities for all ages. this resort is really the hub of a larger complex of facilities and and the entire area of possibilities...unmatched pools, health club and spa activities, basketball complex, tennis, indoor track, multiple bars, and on and on....staff and facilities are fantastic.
---excellent rest.(kites) on site where we enjoyed many meals with great service and food to meet any expectation. This facility offers more than any resort I have ever stayed at.
---perfect for family get away.....great snow boarding and family ski facilities all around the resort. Plan on the larger rooms with kitchen area and luxury and you will not be disappointed(.get warm with your own fireplace)
----do not miss visiting this resort....it is a GEM
Topaz

Room Tip: -suites and rooms at the end of the hall are the best value

“Super Convenient and Plenty To Do...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

A scenic year-round resort in close proximity to most people in the tri-state area, particularly NYC. While a lot depends on the weather, the ski mountain has been significantly revamped over the past 5 years, and they blow a ton of snow when they need to. Much more convenient with the kids in the back seat than the long trek to Vermont. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, they also have tubing in the winter. Ton of stuff indoors and out for both adults and kids, including a 5 star spa, basketball, racquetball, tennis, and indoor/outdoor year-round pools... the restaurant upstairs has great views of the mountains and is surprisingly good... this place is great in the summer as well, with some of the best golf in NJ and tons of outdoor ammenities to choose from, including the amusement park.

Highly recommended for families and even couples or singles. If you want to go a little higher end, the same company owns and runs Cascades Lodge, about 5 minutes away, which is wonderful as well. Latour restaurant is fantastic, and you have to visit the biodome swimming pool!

“Ahhhh, love the spaaaa!”

My family and I go to Minerals several times a year and we absolutely love it! It is close to home yet a great escape from reality. They have a great pool area with whirlpools, steam room and sauna, so you get allot for the money. Over the years the food has gotten much better so you really don't need to leave the resort. Very close to skiing. Love it!
