We had the opportunity to give Belvedere Motel another shot a few weeks after our first stay (see our last review: 'mold problem') and we were glad that we did. We were impressed; our room was spotless, fresh-smelling and not a trace of mold. It is evident that new cleaning staff have been hired. I am glad we returned because I can honestly say that we'll definitely be coming back either this summer, next summer or both. The pool is clean and refreshing, there are cute little gardens and flower boxes and the mattresses are new and comfortable.

Loved our timed spent at the Belvedere Motel !!! From the minute I pulled in and saw the beautiful flowers, pool and the look of the Motel in person I was thrilled. The owners were fantastic to work with. My daughter and I were so comfortable staying there. Our room was CLEAN and the bed was GREAT. If we needed anything the staff was right on it. One block to the beach, two blocks to the bay, what more could you ask for. The only negative thing I have to say is that our vacation had to end !!! We can not wait to come back to the Belvedere Motel !!!

I've been to the Belvedere many times. The hosts are fabulous and do go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The beds are excellent. The place is clean and very well located. It's quiet and well maintained inside and out. I know of others who have stayed there and they all agree with me.

Poor service as far as I'm concerned for the NJ shore! First, owner won't let you use the pool once you check out, or use beach passes. Therefor, if you check in at 4:00pm and check out the next day (at 11:00am) you don't even get to take advantage of the beach passes. On top of that, they want a $50.00 cash deposit for those beach passes. As a family going to the NJ shore, who brings an extra $300 cash to leave as a deposit..why not a c/c? And ohh boy, DON'T be late returning those beach passes..they are due back at 11:00 am on day of check out & if they're not, don't plan on seeing your deposit $, even if your only 10 minutes late! Owner NOT accomodating AT ALL! We had friends staying there & were told if we had checked out, we could not swim in the pools with them, b/c we checked out.
