The hotel is very clean and has a great breakfast with made to order omlettes as well as happy hour from 5:30-7 including wine and beer.

The room are spacious and the staff were very accomidating. There was verry little noise in the hotel. There is a small kitchen with a fridge, 2 burner cook top, small microwave, dishwasher and kitchen accessories. Theres also free wifi.

The beds were not really queen size though. It was a little tough to sleep in with 2 people ( room 311). The room are kind of mismatched on the tvs, some seem to have 42" tvs where others have 32" and all different brands. You'd think they would have gotten a discount on a bulk order from someone for one kind.

Firstly, not just any Hotel is a Hyatt and this Hotel is now Hyatt. So, you get to stay in a Hyatt while paying like an Extended Stay Hotel.

The Location is good with convenient access to US highway 46. The Hotel 's best advantage is that - It serves a good array of complimentary continental Breakfast in the morning (the menu though stays the same over a period of time and can get boring), and there's a concept of Social Hours in the evening when they serve Drinks (soft / hard / wines) and snacks which can even be as heavy as dinner. They also have a store where you find frozen foods and drinks and candys et al at all very reasonable prices. Add to this a good Fitness Center, Good rooms (with Fridge, Microwave and Stove) and nice housekeping, and Complimentary Shuttle Services twice a day .. makes a stay in this hotel feel like a luxurious home.

A few points where they can improve:
1) the breakfast or Social Hours menu can be revamped...or periodically rolled over to change the feel.
2) As most of the staffs are simply great, a few who are not that great (in communication, or in clarity of information they provide) can be better trained to meet the high standards of the staffs have set for themselves. Guys like Sylvester, Christopher and a few others I am not sure of the name are simply great.

We have family in the Parsippany area and spent Thanksgiving weekend with them. We stayed in this lovely hotel, Hotel Sierra Parsippany 299 Smith Road, Parsippany, New Jersey, USA 07054. The hotel has very high standards and is very well kept. It has, just recently, been taken over by the Hilton chain, a sure sign that it is a worthy hotel with very reasonable prices as well. The staff are very accommodating and polite. The room(s) was wonderful. We had a suite, as all of the rooms are, with a nice sitting/kitchenette/dinning/office space. All of this, topped off with a separate sleeping area, well designed bathroom and closet area.

We were visiting our son in Brooklyn and needed a place to stay close enough that it would only take an hour to get into the city the next day. Finding a reasonably priced hotel is a challenge close to NYC. I happen to come upon the Hotel Sierra in Parsippany, NJ. We lucked out and only paid $89 for a Saturday night stay! It is an "extended stay" hotel with all the amenities of a four star hotel. Everything in the room was spotless. The room was huge with a full size fridge, two burner stove and even a small dishwasher. The couch was comfortable for watching the large flat screen TV and the bed had luxurious sheets with a very comfortable mattress. A nice complimentary breakfast was served. The desk staff were friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you can get the deal we did!
