We stayed a few nights because when we drove past this hotel for a day trip to the beach, all of the doors of the hotel were open, as apparantly they were airing out the rooms, so we noticed the vacancy on or about August 26, 2009. We inquiried inside with an older lady with a heavy accent, and she told us that she would charge us less than the 126 that was advertised on the paper. I asked if I could see the rooms, and we looked and said ok. After all where can you find a cheap clean room near the beach? I have stayed at 100 per night rooms that were just a bed and a broken air conditioner and awful, so this was not horrible. We paid by visa (they don't take Amx) and we took the room we saw. The pool was clean and very warm that evening. The kitchenette was a real money saver, although it took a little over one evening for the items in the freezer to actually freeze.
Soap, shampoo was provided, but the bathrooms were functional, but I believe if you are large or plus sized you won't fit in.
We had others to join us and they charged us more and we got a pull out bed and more towels. Worth the price, I would return, it was priced right and I did not get sick there! Oh ice is 25 cents and it is a small amount at the machine, and a pay per load washer dryer is on site too. Close to supermarkets and conveninent.
