“Sister Getaway to Cape May, NJ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

Twin Gables was a really great B & B and we had a wonderful 2 night stay. It is located in the historic district so it was a very easy walk to get to wherever we wanted to go. Regina is an excellant hostess and awesome cook. Breakfasts were really very tasty. She baked all kinds of things to munch on. It was very clean and well kept. Not fancy but cozy and nice and we were made to feel right at home. Her two dogs - Brandy and Rascal - were very well trained and behaved and fun to watch as they roamed about the Inn. I would recommend this place very highly.

“Awesome stay, would recommend to friends!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

From the time we arrived Regina and her canine companions, Brandy and Rascal made us feel at home. The inn is centrally located to the historical area and business district of Cape May. We never needed to move our car during our visit. Our room was elegantly decorated in a period to match the elegance of this Victorian Mother/Daughter house. We enjoyed afternoon tea on the lovely screened porch after we returned from our walks. Breakfast was also served on the porch and was delicious. This was an anniversary trip so Regina gave us a great recommendation for dinner on our special day.
This is an excellent reasonable place to stay in Cape May.

“Cozy and well priced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

This B&B is a good choice for a Cape May vacation. It's centrally located, well kept, and the rooms are comfortable. One drawback is the bathrooms, which are very tiny. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there is one in the hotel's lounge area. The innkeeper, Regina, makes an absolutely delicious (and filling) breakfast every day, as well as providing a yummy tea in the afternoon.

“A Wonderful Christmas Treat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2010

We came to Cape May over the December 18th weekend for the Christmas Candlelight House Tour and wanted a reasonably priced B&B within walking distance of the tour. We picked Twin Gables because of the positive reviews, room availability, good price and that there was no two night minimum requirement. We arrived to find an intimate, warm and friendly B&B with Regina as our hostess. Everything was perfect from the victorian decor of the bedrooms and living room to the afternoon tea and morning breakfast to the great location on Columbia Avenue. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again to visit Regina. Thanks for making our weekend so pleasant and memorable.

“It was like staying with your favorite aunt who likes to dote on you.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

Regina, the innkeeper of Twin Gables, is one of the nicest, most accommodating B&B hosts we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Staying with her was like visiting a favorite aunt (or other female relative) who loves to dote on you. One proof of this is the number of people who return to stay with her again and again; we noted that a number of the other guests during our stay fit into that category. We will definitely stay with Regina again when we next visit Cape May. Also, Regina goes all out with her breakfasts, which are inventive, delicious and take guests' dietary needs into account. Twin Gables was clean, quiet and well-located, and staying there was all in all a very pleasant experience.
