We had 2 non-smoking rooms reserved for two nights for our immediate family. Many family members and friends were staying in the same inn for a wedding in the area.

When we arrived they had us in smoking rooms and told us no non-smoking rooms were available. The rooms were in a separate builing behind the main building. The rooms were dark and musty. The door to one room was difficult to shut securely. We were extra careful to make sure the door was shut properly any time we went in or out. We returned at about 10pm our second night to find the door not shut tightly. Housekeeping must not have secured the door after making up the room.

The water pressure in this building made it close to impossible to take a shower. A couple family members had to go to other rooms to shower.

While wi-fi was advertised, it was not available in the back building. We had to go to the lobby to use wi-fi.

Some family members and friends were in the main building. Their experience was somewhat better, but this is an inn that needs some sprucing up. In this area there are not many places to stay, so it would be nice to see what is there in better shape.

The continental breakfast was sufficient. Nice selection of cereals and breads to toast.

The front desk staff did listen to our concerns and compensated us accordingly.

When we travel to NH to visit family we have consistently stayed at the Red Roof Inn. Our room is always clean, the staff warm and welcoming and our 2 shelties are thrilled that they are welcome as well. The area is quiet and affords us the opportunity to take the dogs for decent walks. We'll gladly go back.

This was a great place to stay for a spur-of-the-moment hiking weekend. The price was excellent, the beds very comfortable, the room was spacious, and the TV remote worked great! And there was no extra charge for our dog.

My 4 year old son and I stayed here for three nights after Christmas. Clean, decent, friendly staff, acceptable breakfast (certainly a better option than the McDonald's across the street). I was very pleased to find a microwave and refrigerator in the room as well.
