rooms don't have smoke detectors, stove tops look like they are about to fall off, shower is filthy, and there are illegal activities going on from what I hear. If I could give this a negative I would. And then we were told we can catch up over time on the rent and the owner turns around and wants soooo much more then what we actually owe. The only good thing was the ice cream stand across the street, but never will I eat there again since I found out that the guy that owns the motel owns the ice cream stand

This place is terrible......dirty, threadbare furnishings, poor staff. The daily rate is more than many wonderful accomodations in the area and the weekly rate reflects the fact that you will get no services. NO amenities. Kitchen not equipped and barely functional. If you want ice you have to drive 1/2 mile and pay almost $2 for a bag. You don't save money, you don't get a clean room, walls are paper thin, grounds not well maintained, etc., etc. You're better off sleeping in your car!!

Don't get me wrong, the place is great - nearby many amenities, a large park, and an ice cream shop across the street. However, if you're a non-smoker and traveling solo, beware. They put me in a smoker's room, right beside another smoker's room (the doors face each other) - the smoke from the other room leaks in and chokes you non-smokers.

There was often yelling from neighbouring rooms in the middle of the night, and the TVs next door were often on until 2am. I believe the motel doubles as a residential apartment in spots; the max number of nights is 70, so I have my doubts. Room rates are $55 for a single, not sure for others. If you can sleep with smoke, yelling or the TV on, you can sleep here for sure.

Otherwise, the room was quite spacious for my first motel room. The Full-sized bed was a welcome change from a single at home. The microwave takes twice as long to heat something up than a regular microwave. The bar fridge works perfectly. Wireless internet not perfect, but not terrible either - As long as you don't try surfing the net from your bed, you're fine; use the provided table.

No room service provided, and if you run out of toilet paper, you need to go to the main desk to get more. There are no phones in the room.

This place has a great location near everything and across the street from an ice cream stand. Very clean and comfortable and probably the best rates in the area.
