I stayed here for one night on a business trip to Durham, and it was simply fine in every way. Exceptionally clean bathroom and bedroom, and comfortable bedding. The hotel appeared quite full, but my room on the 2nd of three floors was very quiet, which I really appreciate...not even any plumbing noises from other rooms to speak of. Even the stairwells at the ends of the halls are carpeted and quite lovely. Wireless and a nice work desk in my room, but no fridge. Friendly staff, nice array at the complimentary breakfast, with a large, bright and airy seating area. I always pick this hotel for this particular annual conference, and I always feel comfortable, safe and well-rested for a reasonal price.

We stayed here for one night on the way back from Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.

We had stayed at this same location about four years ago while attending a wedding, and wanted to visit charming downtown Portsmouth. At that time, this hotel was very new, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was still very fresh.

Although located about a fifteen minute drive from downtown, it is easily accessible. Just ask for directions from the helpful front desk staff or use your GPS, as there are some turns involved. Enjoy downtown Portsmouth! There are several restaurants and shops which are worthwhile visiting.

Although located in a college town, we were not bothered by noise from the college community. In fact, we enjoyed taking a walk through the campus and the town's Main Street.

The hotel offered the standard breakfast fare, which was adequate for a good start for the day. The bathrooms are small. However, the vanity is located outside of the bathroom area, which is a nice feature, and one which I would prefer.

Anyway - no complaints on my part!

I stayed here one night. Staff was friendly. Hotel very clean. I had no problem with the wireless internet connection.

Stayed overnight and everything was just right. Nothing fancy but an all around nice place to stay. The room and bathroom were clean as were the common areas in the hotel. Buffet breakfast in the morning was also nice. Quick bowl of cereal and some juice = simple and easy. If you're looking for a basic no frills place to stay that is still pleasant and clean this is the place for you! My only complaint would be the parking lot was a bit noisy at night due to some college students who live nearby--but it wasn't anything too bad (i.e. got me out of bed complaining)--things quieted down shortly.
