My wife and i just got married in Las vegas and had an ok time. As a rule, You have to pass through Tonapah on the 95 to get back to our area of I daho. We decided to stop at a friend and or acquintance of mine Jim marshe's Ramada inn. You roll the dice for a free room and we won a suite!! That was a great wedding gift, Thanks jim! However.... The slots are tight and the employee's are not managed at all!! Come on Jim Thats not your style!! Thank you for the room, I'll talk to you soon!!

We always stay here when we explore Tonopah (we love Tonopah---it hasn't yet been spoiled by chic boutiques opened by new residents). Everything is self-contained here...there is a casino and a restaurant within the motel complex. It is decorated like a old west hotel of 150 years ago. What is kind of fun is that, at least when we were there, the locals get kind of boisterous late in the evening in the bar area...it's interesting to watch!

When one checks in, they let you roll dice for a free room. One has to get three of a kind with dice. The odds are one out of 36...not really too bad!

The room was very nice...clean and comfortable.

If you want smoke filled hallways, non-smoking rooms that smell like the smoke filled hallways, dingy and drab rooms with only a few electrical outlets and climbing 5 flights of stairs to get to your room, you will LOVE this hotel.

No place to spend a night...unless you smoke like a chimney and are blind. I checked the mattress to make sure there weren't bed bugs (there weren't ) but only slept there under the influence of Ambien.

The bonus was that the drain in the shower was broken so that you were standing in 8 inches of water during your shower. When I waited at the front desk to complain (for 10 minutes while the apathetic gal talked to one of the other employees) she said, "wow, I'll report that." Not, "let me give you a discount" or something like that.

We stayed here because they accepted dogs and the other motel was booked. But, if you find yourself in Tonopah and the only place left is this dump, keep driving.

Such a bloody experience, never again.

Every year in October, I stop in Tonopah when returning from a bird hunting trip. My usual stop is the Best Western but they were booked when I called for a reservation. The Ramada was the next option that had a room. When I got to the room, I almost left but the next stop was too far. The bathroom had 8 vanity lights but only 3 worked. It made it tough to see my face in the morning. The Vent fan in the bathroom did not work. The carpet was filthy. When I went to bed, music from below rumbled extremely loud until after midnight. When I complained at around 9:00 PM, the girl at the front desk said that she had just heard about the dance that was going to last until midnight. I checked out around 7:30 on Sunday morning and found that all of those occupants that were around my room were leaving at the same time. All complained about the poor accomodations and the "Musical Noise".
