This is a very impressive place next to the Lake. I was interested in having a round of golf but at $240 for a round I had to be revived from the shock! They did have new golf clubs for hire at another $50. Thats more than I can take guests to my own course in Leeds.
The club house is very impressive so we decided to return one evening for a meal.
The service and attention to detail is impressive.
The food is not cheap but the presentation and quality is very good and we thought well worth paying that bit extra for.
Would recommed as a beautiful location and inpressive surroundings.

I played Edgewood Tahoe Golf course on June 15, 2011. We payed over $200 for greens fees. It is a nice course in an incredible location. In my opinion, the golf wasn't worth the money, but the views and convenience were. The greens themselves were in very good shape, but they were surrounded some patchy grass. The views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains almost left me forgetting about the golf. All in all, the course layout itself is pretty unremarkable except for a few holes (17 and 18), but if you are staying in the Stateline area, you cant beat the convenience. The deck area for an after-round drink was great. It is also and incredible sunset.

My husband and I played Edgewood in August and loved every minute of it! It is pricey ($225 each) but worth it and, Brook's Bar and Grill serve wonderful food. You have the option to hire a caddy, but it is not necessary. The staff is friendly and professional.

Edgewood is a woman friendly golf course that is situated on the south shore of gorgeous Lake Tahoe and winds its way through the forest. The mountains, lake, and casinos that call to you to visit after your round can be distracting! There are a few elevation changes and no forced carries. The last 3 holes play right on the edge of the lake which, on a windy day, can play havoc with your shot!

Played the Edgewood Golf course July 20, 2010, 2 days after the Celebrity Tournament. Paid $220, and were terribly disappointed in the condition of the course, not as good as most $25 muni golf courses I have played. The fairways had bare spots and patchy grass, the rough was unmowed and bare in spots, the greens were well grassed but bumpy. It is as if they were too poor to water the course EXCEPTon the first hole that was visible from the clubhous.It was wet, lush and green. We have played a number of courses after tournaments and they are always in great shape. On the good side, the service was very good, the layout and views have a lot of potential with proper course maintenance. We were planning a future golf vacation with friends to Tahoe but if this is the advertised "best" in the area we won't be back.
