Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel in dec 2011 we were in vegas for 2012 so about this hotel well i have stayed on alot of hotels around the world and i had no problems at all we stayed on non smoking floor the casino and the 24 hr going on's was unreal new yrs was fantastic as the strip was closed that evening for everyone to walk about the tram from the mirage to TI (treasure island) was very handy A BIG MUST is to go to mystere in TI unbelievable. when walking about on the strip do not fall for any one selling timeshares just say no thank and walk on otherwise you will be in ther for hrs lucky us we got out of it the food in vegas is truly gorgeous the steaks are fab one restaurant i will mention is THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY just go and you will not believe the amount of food you get and good value and gorgeous food this is in the forum shops next door to the mirage the beds in the mirage are heaven be careful with the mini bar if you move anything you will be billed i managed to get a small water in ther without been billed just get the ice from vending machine they are on every floor and fill the ice bucket to keep drinks cool but overall the people cannot do enough for you at the hotel we were there for 13 nights a bit too long 7 days more than enough we didn't gamble so cannot comment but to see it all going on is amazing

Room Tip: floor 14 is a good floor non smoking and really quiet no a/c noise

“Decent hotel but few amenities”

I recently stayed at the Mirage and all in all it was a good stay. the lines to check in/out were short and the room was a good size, clean, very comfortable bed, and the casino is nice. Location is also very good. On the negative side, the bathroom on the smaller side. I also didn't like the fact that they charge money to use the gym (excluding a small room with some ellipticals and treadmills).

“Friendly Hotel”

First time for the Mirage. Could have gotten the room a little cheaper probably.Everyone was friendly and greeted you by name at buffet which is always excellent. Had to write housekeeping a note on the first day but all was corrected and fine for the rest of the week. View of the strip and the volcano . Gambling was like all other casinos. Dealers were nice. Overall a good time The weather for the first week of Feb. sunny and 70. Snowing in Ohio.

“Centrally located, nice rooms!”

Stayed here for a conference end of January 2012. Checked in on a sunday and missed the early afternoon check in rush, but they were on top of things so you didnt have to wait long.

Yes, there is a 20 per day resort fee which they tell you upfront about, which gets you internet access, entry to the cardio center which seemed ok.

Rooms are nice and big, bathrooms are a bit small, but its a good place to stay, its located next to Caesars Palace and has a good atmosphere, lots of restaurants inside, you dont have to leave the complex if you dont want to!

The casino to me was not that lively so I had to knock my overall rating a bit, it could be that I stayed Sunday to Tuesday, but I walked to Planet Hollywood Casino and that had a good atmosphere!

Overall it was a solid stay, the staff was great and courteous, the rooms are nice, good restaurants and a good location in the heart of the strip. I would definitely stay here again

“Penthouse Suite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We were booked for a regular room and decided at check in to see if there were any upgrades available at check-in. We asked for a view of the volcano and asked how much more for a suite upgrade. We were paid $100 a night for a Penthouse suite overlooking the volcano. Well worth the money! We usually don't spend a lot of time in our room, but with this room it was hard to leave!

The suite was beautiful and more than enough room to have people over for a drink before dinner. A dining room table for 6 and a wet bar in the living room area. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go again. The bathroom has a jetted tub and separate shower. King sized bed with TV at the foot of the bed that rises out of the cabinet.

Casino is fun with lots of variety in table games and slots. Many choices of restaurants. We took our food to go from Carnegie Deli and enjoyed it in the room. Relaxed in the room in the mornings with coffee before hitting the strip. A great time in a great room!

Room Tip: If you have the opportunity to get a suite upgrade take it!
