“Great place to stay and price is great as well!”

The place was tidy and has everything you could need, beds were comfortable but some of the group wasn't too fond of the pillows (on the thicker side). The nightclub wasn't very big compared to other places but was quite elegant. We frequented the Cafe and the staff there are great and so was the food. Saw the Jabbawokeez, which was a fantastic show right in the hotel. We also got tickets at the hotel box office for Celine Dion 2 hours before the show for $60, great last minute price! The pool was closed but I guess this is the case for many of the hotels at this time of year. They say check-in is at 3pm but we were able to when we got there at around 1pm, I would suggest to check in earlier as it looked quite busy that evening. They also have and express checkout, which was great cause the lines were pretty long. This is for those of you that don't charge stuff to the room and have no need to look at the statement. Also there is no wifi in the rooms, just ethernet cable for computers. So phones or tablets cant hook up to the internet.

Room Tip: The queen beds are full queen beds, I've hear other places have double which they claim as "...

“NOT a great experience!”

First impression of the lobby, not so bad. First impression of the room, Motel 6. Everything is nailed down, literally. There is no complimentary coffee, water, Wi-Fi, or anything else for that matter. There is no refrigerator or mini bar. There is not even a fan in the bathroom and the sink was clogged. We were in town for a trade show, checked in for a WEEK! The housekeeping took items from our room, even though our bags were still there and we were obviously NOT checked out. To top off the not so wonderful stay, we were treated as idiots and theives by their "security officer" Tom. Shawna at the front desk did her best to apologize for Tom's behavior, but with everything combined, we will not be returning to the Monte Carlo again.

Room Tip: DON'T go to the Monte Carlo. Period. The Vdara is a VERY nice place to stay... if you want any...

I found the Monte Carlo staff and hotel overall an amazing experience. I found the shower a bit annoying but loved the place. Great value and great location. I went with my boyfriend for a week and it was a great experience.

“good place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We spent 4 nights. It was a nice, clean place, easy to walk to everywhere (about 1/2 walk to other end of strip both sides) Even better that you can drink on the way. Pretty warm so remember to hydrate with some water. tours were good. Locals said to gamble downtown away from the strip but since we are not gamblers we didnt care but we do wish we got over to freemont street which lots of people rave about . Lots of discounts out there for the room and things to do, so much to do if you don't gamble, lots of shows and show discounts at tix for less. Decide what show you want to see that night - go get tickets (coupon as you have to exchange coupon at ticket desk once at show.) - great savings.
Food was mostly good everywhere - really good at new york new york at one of the deli sandwiches.

“Location is OK but does not worth $$$...”

Another Las Vegas hotel. Depends what you are looking for, but I was there only for 1 night and booked it for its location. Does not worth the money you pay (especially the extra fees that they charge for internet that I did not use, fax that I did not receive or newspaper that I did not get...). There are better values in LV, try another place
