“Hail, Caesar”

Stayed at Caesars Palace Feb 6-9th. My wife and I had reserved a Forum Tower deluxe room, but at arrival I requested a room in the new Octavius Tower, and my request was granted! When the bellhop arrived to our room with our luggage, he told us that our floor had only been open for a day or two and we may have been the first guest to stay in the room. I must say, the new rooms are very nice, and the bed was plush, indeed. If that bed would have fit into my bag, it would be at home with me = ). All kidding aside, try the new tower if you have a chance, it won't be a regretful choice. The hotel staff was over accommodating, you can't get much better. The casino dealers however were a different story - trying to build some kind of rapport with them was like talking to a wall, just indifferent and seeming like they were just doing their time before leaving. I spent most of my gaming time at Bally's, Hard Rock, The Palms and Flamingo, all of which had friendly dealers you could enjoy time with.

Room Tip: If you are in the Octavius or Augustus Tower and you rent a car, be sure to use the VIP valet at the...

“Very disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

I was looking forward to staying at Caesars. I go to Vegas several times a year and this was one that I thought I would enjoy. The hotel was very hot inside, it smelled like smoke throughout the gaming area, the room was old and run down and the slots are very tight. The staff was not friendly at all...one of the blackjack dealers admittedly said to one of the ppl at the table that " I know I'm a [--]"...and she was! The front desk, the restaurant workers, the dealers were all not friendly. As a person in this industry, you would think that hospitality would be taught a little better for this environment. When I checked out, I spoke to the front desk and she said "well maybe you should get a room in the new side next time"...I didn't know they had a new side...moving forward, I will stay away from this hotel. For the money spent and the money "donated" to the hotel, it wasn't worth the experience...I'll take my $5k elsewhere.

“Awesome resort.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

I have stayed at Caesar's Palace twice now and have not been disappointed either time. We stayed in the Augustus Tower and the rooms are incredible. Very luxurious. The bathroom is huge...has a seperate room with the toilet, a walk in shower, a jacuzzi tub, a flatscreen tv, marble counters, etc...and that's just the bathroom. Very comfortable beds and lots of space in the room. Our floor to ceiling window looked out over the Bellagio Fountains, which was a neat sight.

The casino is very large and has tons of very nice restaurants and bars. The PCDL is a cool place to gamble late at night too...very nice dealers. The pool complex is huge and has several different pools with their own scene at each one. There is even a swim up black jack table in one of them. Nice bars and waitress service at the pools as well.

If you're looking for a cheaper place to gamble, Bills and Flamingo are right across the road as well. This casino is located in the middle of the strip, so you have relatively easy access to several other casinos as well. I highly recommend this resort if the budget allows it.

Room Tip: Can't go room with any rooms here.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Agree with other reviews that the hotel was okay. Because of a conference we had a special room--larger suite with two shower heads in the shower which adjoined two bathrooms. The flat screen tv was small compared to others--only one in this large room compared to 3 in Palazzo suites. The plumbing in the sinks were bad--one side backed up a lot, the other the faucet would not quite turn off. Room service was dependent on the person--one day excellent, other days just the basics were done. The beds seemed more like 2 full size instead of Queens. Service in the restaurants, Diamond lounge, etc were excellent however.

Room Tip: We had a room at the end of the hall--1502. It was far from the elevator but more quiet due to less...

“Fantastic Hotel & Wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We got married at Caesars Palace in the Venus Garden and stayed for 6 nights. The wedding was perfect and very well organised and the hotel was fantastic. The room was very spacious well equipped and was topped off with a wonderful view over the Bellagio fountains. Would highly recommend staying here.
