“Pleasant place to stay for a great price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

I only stayed one night on business but I was pleasantly surprised by what a great value this place is. The rooms are very clean and simple. There is nothing fancy in the room but its not run down either. For example, the TV is the old tube type but it works just fine. The hotel is exactly what you want if you need a clean room for cheap. I ended up with a room that overlooked the roof of the casino but if you request an interior facing room, you get to look over the huge nice looking atrium area which at night has a laser light show. The atrium area is a pleasant place to be if you want to get away from the slot machines. Check-in is easy if you can find the desk. I walked all around the casino looking for it before discovering its in the atrium where I least expected it. The have plenty of people working the desk to make check-in go quickly and everybody was friendly. The hotel would work well for families since it has a movie theater, bowling alley, swimming pool, nightly laser light show, and a restaurant that kids would like. On my next trip I will probably stay here again.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a view inside the Atrium area where you can see the laser light show. It might cost...

“Nice Low-Key Hotel with lots to do.”

I stayed at Sam's Town 1/31/ - 2/3/12. My parents were also staying here and check in was a breeze and we were able to get adjoining bedrooms. I had 2 queen beds and my parents had a king. We didn't pay for a view of the Atrium, so we had a view of the top of a building. The room was a basic room with an older style TV. My bed was very comfortable & I liked the pillows. The bathroom was simple with a single sink and showed a little wear. The toilet was stained down in the bowl with what looked like cigarette ash, but the actual toilet was clean. The shower had good pressure, but if you didn't turn the shower part on immediately, the tub began to fill with water. The rooms were also a decent size.

I really enjoyed the Sam's Town complex. The atrium is beautiful and the movie theater is huge and very nice. The bowling alley is huge. There are also a lot of food choices, which is nice. The casino was fine & I liked the bingo room which had free self-serve beverages.

All in all, if you are looking for a decent clean room at a great price, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. It took us approximately 20-30 minutes to get to the strip including time to walk to your car & park on the Strip.

I loved this hotel because everything you could possibly need they had it and then some. I loved that the location was so convenient to everything. It wasn't on the strip but i was okay with that because it was my first time in vegas. I was very happy with the service and the staff. It was pretty amazing. There was a water show with animals that was pretty cute as well

“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Good value for the price paid. Needed a place to stay for airport run. Did not want to be on strip. Served our purpose. There is no coffee shop for breakfast . We drove to another hotel to eat. The Mexican restaurant was excellent.

“You get more than what you pay for.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

The saying that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, is not true at Sam's Town. You get much more. The rooms are not as elegant as at the Bellagio, but you pay much much less for that room which is always clean & pleasant. My wife has two brothers who live in Vegas, that we visit twice a year. We stay at Sam,s Town for the whole time we are there, which is five to six days each time.We have been going there for over fifteen years now. You never have to leave this place because they offer so much to do. Besides gambling, they have a fast food court, several sit down restaurants, & a buffet restaurant. A multi screen theater, a very large bowling alley, outdoor swimming pool & a very large atrium which is like sitting in a park, with a running stream, a coffee hut,& a bar. A very relaxing place. It's off the Strip, but who cares. They also have a free shuttle that will take you downtown.

Room Tip: The rooms that face the arium give you a very nice view. They cost about ten dollars more a day.
