“worst place ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2010

this is the worst place I have ever stayed, it was dirty, unkept and a waste of my money. I have never been so disappointed about a hotel/motel than this place. I do not recommend this to anyone. The grounds are horrible, the pool is not kept up. It is so dirty that you can not swim in it. If there was another place at all I would have left in the middle of the night. The staff and general manager are so unprofessional it is sad. What ever happend to customer service. The rooms are not cleaned and never a fresh towel. so sad it could be a nice place if someone that cared took it over

“Don't waste your money!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2010

It looks like an apartment complex turned into a Hotel. The pools looked nice but wasn't heated so we couldn't swim. Lights in our room didn't work at all. No ice machines at all. No Phones in rooom. No garbage cans, they expected us to run all our garbage out to the front. We have 6 in our family and they would only give us 4 pillows. It looked like the ghetto walking from our car to our room. And the people that live there that have dogs don't keep their balconies clean (dog poop everywhere). The lady at the front desk was really rude, although later that night the guys working were pretty nice. Definately not a 3 star hotel!

“What a Nightmare- VACATIONERS BEWARE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 March 2010

This place was an absolute nightmare. Cars were broken into. A guest got locked out of their room because their key rubbed against something else, and there was nothing they could do but stay in their car until the next morning when the hotel staff arrived. They did not ever offer an apology. The pools are filthy. The carpet inside was filthy. There were thousands of insects attacking you when you walked from your room to your car. The ac/heating system did not work properly. I cant even begin to tell you what a nightmare we had and witnessed other guests having when we stayed there last. I think the reviews from 2007 and 2008 should be disregarded because this is a much different place now. This place will ruin your vacation if you dare stay here. The hotel staff has no experience dealing with people. They are less than helpful. If you do experience a problem, there will be absolutely nothing they can do to help you rectify the situation. We were mortified to find that people were going through all of these things while we stayed there. I couldn't help but think if so many people had these bad experiences that I would likely go through the same thing. Well, it happened. We got locked out of our room because of this key system that they have where the key could get de-magnitized. Of course, there was no staff available to help. Security told us there was no contact person after hours, which could be any time during the day because they go and come as they please. Its as if they have nobody to answer to. I think they owe their consumers the descency to at least try to fix some of these complaints that are recurring. It is obvious that they do not care. What I decided to do is to write this review because if it can stop one person from having to go through this experience then I have done my part. What I wish they would do is take off the reviews from before this place went to hell in a handbasket, and let the record show the hotel reviews recently.

“Hotel Staff and Hotel itself are both nightmares you would want to avoid”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 March 2010

Do not be fooled by good reviews that you see about this hotel. I am a witness that this hotel was ok back in 2008 or so. You will be attacked by insects outside of every corridor because the grounds are not kept up. You might get your car burglarized. Your key could mysteriously stop working during your stay it it touches something else and you will not be able to get in touch with anyone until the next morning. When we first arrived, our room smelled like kitty litter. They moved us into a different room, but the hotel staff's attitude was horrible. They do not know how to deal with customers. The pools are horrific. You better be very careful trying to save yourself a buck because you could get sucked into the hotel from hell. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL because the only thing you will be able to do is write a review. The staff will not care how your stay was. They could care less and it is very apparent.

“Lived there for a year and stayed again over new year 2010”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2010

i actually lived at this place for a year while i worked on the city center. I didnt have too many problems while i lived there so i thought i would check it out. the rooms are a nice size and to have a full kitchen with a washer/dryer is very nice. this last time i was there was what i expected it to be, except on the last night of my stay. i came back to my room at around 12:30 am. the key locks are electronic. the lock would not accept my key. there are third party security guards who are working on the grounds who said they could not help me. they also told me this has happend before to people and that nothing could be done until someone from the "resort" came by in the morning. luckily i new a friend in town that let me sleep at their place. i came back in the morning and told the office staff what had happend. they said that they were sorry and offered nothing. they also asked who i was and when i checked in. they couldnt find the record of me being there, even tho it was the same person who i checked in with. then they charged me an extra $100 dollars to clean my room after i left a pizza in the fridge. this place has really gone down the drain since i first moved in may 2008. it's a great location but i think they try to offer more than they can handle.
