Stayed here for a hospitality conference. The room was huge, more like a condo. I had a full size kitchen, living room with big screen TV and a fireplace, huge bedroom with a king bed, large bath with shower and a jacuzzi tub for two, and a washer and dryer in the unit. I also had a balcony with a view of the strip. This hotel is a two block walk from the strip and on the same street as Caesar's, Bellagio, and Bally's.

My husband an I spent 3 nights at the Platinum celebrating our anniversary. We were surprised with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. How nice was that? We highly recommend the Platinum. The staff is exceptional. This was our second stay and will not be the last!

The Platinum is a great value in Vegas if you are looking for a comparable size room. Last time we stayed at the new Wynn. The room was huge, as are the rooms at the Platinum. We were unaware that The Platinum was a condo style hotel. You get a ful kitchen in your room. Unlike other condo style hotels we have stayed at, you get full house keeping daily and no extra anemity fees included at checkout. The pool was great. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The 4-8 happy hour at the bar is not to be missed and the bartender Nathan is just great. The spa is also not to be missed and you should definitely ask for Ellen if you book a massage. She is knowledgeable and passionate about her work. On the negative, I think more time could be spent on maintenance and cleaning of the hallways, elevators general public seen areas. We think it is a plus to be away from all the casinos ,and just a short walk if you want to get to them.

We spent 3 nights at the Platinum in Jan 2012. We had a strip view Princess suite, that had 2 queen beds in a separate room from the lounge room/ kitchen area. The room also had a balcony, washer/dryer, plasmas and a hot tub in the bath room.

The hotel was extremely clean and this was maintained throughout or stay. ALL staff that we came across during our stay were friendly, helpful, pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. This was evident not only at check in/out, but in the restaurant and bar, the concierge and the porters. The staff definitely did make our stay enjoyable and worry free.

The hotel is about a 5 to 10 min walk to the strip. It is an easy walk, and you can go through Ballys to visit the shops on the way and use their moving footways to get to the strip. It is easy to get to the monorail stations at either Ballys or the Flamingo and there are numerous bus stops to get you most places in LV a 1 minute walk from the front of the hotel.

The NO SMOKING policy of this hotel is fantastic and one which we very much appreciated. The pool area was clean and towels were abundantly available at all times. The restaurant served great food at a reasonable price, and happy hour in the bar was definitely a great place to visit. The wifi in the hotel was perfect and always available.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends, and we hope to stay again in the future!!
