“Sense of calm but close to the action”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Stayed here for one week in February. I was impressed with the relative calm this hotel complex offers but still only two blocks from the tourist traffic on the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is not so large and is made up of several 3-story buldings located in very attractive landscaping. This gives the hotel a sense of calmness in almost a rural atmosphere. The main lobby is separated from the casino, so one could stay here without even approaching the girating noise of the casino.

The room was extremely large and my building was a 3-5minute walk from the main building housing the restaurants. It had a sofa bed and armchair in the sitting area and a small kitchenette. But the latter was not very practical since, although they provide a electric cooker there are no cooking utensils! I mentioned this drawback to the reception and they will provide a microwave on request. However, there is really no need to bother with self catering. Marilyn's restaurant serves an expansive choice of menues 24 hrs. But I did find the ambience of this restaurant rather downbeat and more like a cafeteria/canteen. The Italian restaurant is open evenings and I found that very good, in quiet and sophisticated surroundings.

There is a good fitness center with an exercise pool. Unfortunately the main pool and garden were closed for maintenance works. But this would be a delightful spot when it reopens.

I found the ubiquitous 'resort fee' a bit unnecessary - just a way of these hotels making an extra buck but prividing little for it. They did say that it goes towards the provision of the fitness center and free wifi in the public areas of the hotel (lobby, Piazza Lounge, cafe, upstairs banqueting areas). But the price I paid was extremely good value. A car is useful buat not essential, as it is a bit of a walk to the Strip.

“Great Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We had 11 rooms and a wedding reception at the Tuscany. Everyone was very happy with the accommodations, the rooms are huge and newly remodeled. The lobby has lots of seating for visiting with family. We had a private room between Marilyn's Cafe and The Cantina for a wedding reception, George from Marilyn's cafe did a great job taking care of everything, the wait staff was super! We will definitely stay at the Tuscany again!

“Location, Value, Comfort.”

Our second time staying at the Tuscany. Couldnt think of a reason to stay elsewhere. Rooms are huge, grounds are nice, has 3 restaurants, snack/espresso bar, and casino. An oasis just a couple of blocks from center strip. They hosted a free Superbowl party and there was plenty of seating, 5-for-$10 beer buckets, and moderately priced food. I WISH they had in room WIFI, but it is available in the main building so I took my laptop to the snack bar or lobby. Our room had a few minor issues, missing towel hook, missing leg on fridge, leaky shower faucet, sticky shower door, which we informed them of when we left. The beds are super comfortable. Overall, very satisfied. We would stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

“ANOTHER GREAT STAY!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Tuscany Suites & Casino....what more could you ask for? An intimate casino...you won't get lost going from one end to the other, GREAT restaurants...Marilyn's Cafe is a fantastic restaurant with an extensive menu, good service, and very reasonable (compared to the strip restaurants) prices. The Cantina serves up some great Mexican, and Tuscany Gardens excel in their Italian dishes. The rooms are very big, and have a small kitchenette with coffee maker, refrigerator and bar sink, along with some good cupboard storage, and a nice sized round table with chairs so you can sit and eat some of the extra pizza you brought back from Marilyn's Cafe! I have stayed there several times already, in both a King Bed room and an Executive Double. Each time, my requests were granted by the front desk...close to the casino, on the top floor (3)...so I wouldn't hear other guests walking around above me....only negative I could come up with would be that the bathroom fans in the rooms are just a little loud....normally, I complain that there is NO actual bathroom fan in the room, just a vent, now I get a bathroom fan and I complain its too loud? Maybe I'm a little too hard to please...but, I always leave the Tuscany happy!

Room Tip: Always ask for a top floor room, so you don't hear your upstairs neighbor go to bed at 3:00 A. M...

“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Third stay, Nice Place love the decor and landscapeing.
All carpet was new in our hallway and our room.
One of the rear buildings about 5 minute walk to casino.
Casino is still nice and restrants. Slots payed out a little.
Haveing a mini frig and kitchenette in room is so nice and the huge bathroom. Loved the bedding and pillows. Ac and heat worked perfect as did the safe. Love Tuscany. We rent a car so walking to the strip is just too far for us..

Room Tip: Closer to casino
