I stayed and was married at the Paris hotel. We had a total of 18 people for our trip. The guests were able to get discounted rooms. I had the Eiffel Tower morning package it was great and everything went very smoothly. I got a ton of compliments from friends and family about how it was the best wedding they had been too. We had a brunch reception at the Eiffel Tower restaurant - we had the pre-selected 3 course brunch menu - where the food was amazing and the Creme Brulee was to die for - people are still talking it was the best they have had in any restaurant. Personally, for me the food was way too rich and creamy - but I guess that comes with food type. For dinner we had our group at the Mon Ami Gabi in the private indoor room facing the Belligo fountains, the setup of the room was perfect and the service couldn't be beat. Everyone raved about the meal being the best of the trip by far - smaller groups of us also returned for breakfast and lunch because we were so impressed! This is a breakfast place that can't be missed - sit outside for the great view along with the tasty food.
If you can swing it, between our brunch and dinner we rented a pool cabana. It was THE way to spend the day at the pool. They had an indoor room with A/C, TV and mini fridge, and an outside lounge area with misters - which is a bonus for those hot Vegas days in the sun. The drinks at the pool were pretty pricey as well, but it was a great day and well worth it.
The downside - I hate to complain because everything was so wonderful for our special day, but a few things I would change if I were to do it over... my now husband and I were the first to check-in, a few days ahead of the rest of our party, and come to find out - we were given the worst room. Now normally I wouldn't mind - but being the bride and groom I was sort-of expecting extra special treatment. We had one of the lower room floors, and our room had not been renovated as the other rooms our guests received were - on higher floors. The higher floors also had the much better views, so I would recommend staying the highest floor you can reserve. I didn't want to request to change once I saw the difference in the rooms, because I had so much stuff with my dress and all - and also it wasn't in our nature to throw a fit to the staff for our wedding trip. The higher floors also go a turn down service in the evening which we did not get. Also, on the weekends there was loud music at the pool - being on the lower floors - you better like Jersey Shore fist pumping club music - because unless you turn on your TV, that is all you will hear... all day long. Our room did not have a flat pannel TV or ipod doc like the other rooms. I also wish they offered free wi-fi. In this day and age I think it would be a given, esp with all the bucks the hotels rake in, I think they can afford this perk to their guests :).
For wedding coordinator I was expecting more of a best friend type for guidance - instead I got a drill sargent. She did get the spa to open an hour early for me - which I was unable to get them to do, in order to get my hair and make-up done at their hotel in time for the ceramoney - so that was a benefit to her toughness.
The spa was nothing compared to Ceasars - don't waste your time at the Paris spa - for sure it is worth the walk and $ to check out Ceasers spa, it is amazing and a night and day difference between the two. You don't even need to get a treatment to enjoy their spa - they have a whole set-up with pools and saunas you could easily spend the whole day at - (the only scary part is some of our fellow spa guests who should not be allowed to follow the clothing- optional choice for the sake of the other people there - be advised :),
The photos - you only get standard size prints - so be prepared to shell out a pretty penny to get the CD so you can make your own prints when you return home. My photos did turn out great overall, and I printed them online through a popular online photo site to get the larger prints and books.
Overall - I would say Paris was an awesome place to be married (esp in the tower) - but just make sure to get yourself an awesome remodeled room on a high floor facing the strip to go along with you stay. The night time view of the tower and the fountains is amazing!!! I was told repeatedly that everyone loved the trip and it was THE way to do a wedding. So - I don't think you can go wrong if you get married here. It is a little scary to plan from a distance, but for me it turned out all better than I dreamed!
