“Great 30th Birthday!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2010

After reading the reviews (good and Bad) I was very reluctant to stay in Paris. When we got there the staff were fantastic! The woman at the desk (Cheryl) was wonderful. I told her it was my 30th birthday and we got a great upgrade to the 27th floor in one of the newly renovated rooms....it was beautiful!

We did get the 24 hour pass...and ate breakfast there for the first morning..,it was ok. But going to the Ceasars palace breakfast the next day...choose paris...there is much more to choose from.

The pool was great...very crowded but plenty of spaces open and some shade too.

The only dissapointment was that there was no airport shuttle. And we all know how much cab rides can be!

Other than that I loved staying at Paris, and it made my 30th birthday one to remember!!!

PS even though there is not internet (unless you pay like 15 bucks for 24 hours) they do have great kiosks to print out your boarding passes and surf the internet....(you have to pay for it though)

“Good Location, poor housekeeping.”

I stayed at the Paris Hotel from 8/22 to 8/27/10. Location of the hotel is the best. Just in front of the Bellagio fountains and close to Miracle Mile Shopping Center. If you are a budget traveler like me, pay $18.00 for a beakfast is too much, so, 200 mts north there is a Burger King at Osheas Casino, there is also an Earl Sandwiches store at the Planet Hollywood where prices are low in the $8 or $7. Good? Yes. There is also a Hard Rock Cafe 150 mts south, with a Wendys and a Subway close to it. Good? Better. Ok, more tips,

1) The Deuce: Impossible to ride if you are not an early bird. The only way to see everything and take the deuce is waking up early. The whole day is full. Reason? $7.00 for 24 hours ride is a good deal. So be early at the strip and you will be able to ride it. Also, going early to the strip, you will also find the day more cool, the later at the strip, the hotter will be the day. Everybody is drinking till morning hours, people wake up late, and because you want to see the strip, you wake up early. OK. Whe i say early, means between 830 am to 9 am.

2)The best way to see the strip, is walking. You can not take picturesof the strip, from the inside of car or a bus. Go to google maps or panoramio.com, there are lots of pictures. Youtube.com have a lot of videos of the Strip, watch them, you will learn a lot, the more you learn, the more money you will save by knowing where you are. Study the place before going. You can save hundreds of dollars by doing it by yourself.

3) I was in a "deluxe" room. The cheaper one. There is no fridge, but there is an icemachine in each floor. If the ice machine is not working (that happened to me), go to the lower floor, each floor layout is the same. You will save $55.00 per night without a fridge in the room.

4) Go to the Top of the Eifell tower, by day $10.00 ride, by night $15.00, with $22.00 "VIP ticket", you do not have to make the line to take the elevator. Remember, the Bellagio Fountains show starts at 3pm, until 12am every day. So, stay looking at the Bellagio to take good pictures while you are in the top.

5) The best way to see the Bellagio Fountains show, is waiingt for it. If you leave, it starts, and you will not be there. Have a little patience and you will have a front seat! Is every half and hour and is a must see show.

6) There is a Seven Elleven at the Hawaiian Market, 200 mts south of Paris Hotel. Buy water, this place is really hot in summer time. There is also a Walgreen beside the Hawaiin Market.

Housekeeping...terrible. They did not clean my room daily, i had to look around the floor to see the cleaning girls to see why it was 3pm and the room was not clean. The second day was the same. So i went to the lobby to complaint about it. The front desk clerk Luz, told me, "You want to be cleaned the room daily?" ,,,,,, WHAT!!!. So, i was dissapointted how rude this lady was. There are 2,925 rooms in the Paris Hotel, so, that nobody cares about you, you are another number, that is the way i feel. The hotel lobby looks like an airport, people going and people coming.

Casino- Is beautiful, but like every casino in the strip, they smell the hell of cigarrete smoke! Be prepare for that.

Upgrade- I galantly suggested an upgrade during check in, but Deborah (the clerk) did not help me, remember this name Deborah! If this is your clerk at check in, forget it, no complimentary upgrade! Period. Rude people.

“Great stay”

Travelled with my wife, we had mixed thoughts after reading the negative reviews. Check out proceeded without any difficulties. Room overlooked the pool was clean, comfortable and spacious.
We had a minor problem with the shower not draining, this problem was rectified immediately. Room cleaned and towels changed daily.
Any queries we had were answered by the helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay.

checked in at 10am our room was being cleaned and were told to come back in 1 hr for the keys which we did and the room was ready., but the check in employee next to us told a couple they were too early for check in and had to wait till 3pm Really what's the diiference to them if the room is clean and you check in early. Anyhow nice room, premier on the 29th floor view of the pool and partial view of the fountains. comfortable bed quiet room flatscreen tv. never a wait for the elevators. drink prices high in the bars and the pool .looked like the buffet always had a long wait to get in. most employees we dealt with were friendly.

“Good Experience All Around”

We travel to LV once or twice a year and have stayed at Paris half a dozen times. Love the location in the heart of the strip. Check in was painless - mid afternoon on a Friday - however the valet was jammed so we self parked. Comped room was one of the older ones. Showing it's age but everything functioned. The bed definetly needed a new mattress but we slept well. All of our encounters with staff were pleasant. The poolside servers were friendly and attentive. Mon Ami Gabi is one of our favorite restuarants on the strip and we were able to get a table on the patio on a Friday night with only a 15 minute wait. Great place to people watch and the food is very good.
From a gambling standpoint we also like the connector to Ballys where the table limits are often lower (I'm a craps player). I like the option of being able to change casinos to change our luck without having to go outside. I think Paris is a solid option if you're looking for a reasonably priced mid-strip location. We're in our 50's so we look for a little less intense vibe and Paris fits the bill.
