“Great stay”

Travelled with my wife, we had mixed thoughts after reading the negative reviews. Check out proceeded without any difficulties. Room overlooked the pool was clean, comfortable and spacious.
We had a minor problem with the shower not draining, this problem was rectified immediately. Room cleaned and towels changed daily.
Any queries we had were answered by the helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay.

checked in at 10am our room was being cleaned and were told to come back in 1 hr for the keys which we did and the room was ready., but the check in employee next to us told a couple they were too early for check in and had to wait till 3pm Really what's the diiference to them if the room is clean and you check in early. Anyhow nice room, premier on the 29th floor view of the pool and partial view of the fountains. comfortable bed quiet room flatscreen tv. never a wait for the elevators. drink prices high in the bars and the pool .looked like the buffet always had a long wait to get in. most employees we dealt with were friendly.

“Good Experience All Around”

We travel to LV once or twice a year and have stayed at Paris half a dozen times. Love the location in the heart of the strip. Check in was painless - mid afternoon on a Friday - however the valet was jammed so we self parked. Comped room was one of the older ones. Showing it's age but everything functioned. The bed definetly needed a new mattress but we slept well. All of our encounters with staff were pleasant. The poolside servers were friendly and attentive. Mon Ami Gabi is one of our favorite restuarants on the strip and we were able to get a table on the patio on a Friday night with only a 15 minute wait. Great place to people watch and the food is very good.
From a gambling standpoint we also like the connector to Ballys where the table limits are often lower (I'm a craps player). I like the option of being able to change casinos to change our luck without having to go outside. I think Paris is a solid option if you're looking for a reasonably priced mid-strip location. We're in our 50's so we look for a little less intense vibe and Paris fits the bill.

“be aware”

During our staying in the hotel we had to make 4 phone calls to a line phone in Long Island NY. To understand what will be the expected cost of the calls we checked the brochure in the room, which note that the price of one minute to the service of AT&T will cost 1.25$ and any other call will be charged according to AT&T rates + 20%.

We were very surprised to discover the price was more then 10$ !! for each call that lasted only a few seconds.

The respond we received from the clerk name shirlene (she wasn't willing to give us her full name) was; there is a line of people and that she or that manager do not have time for us so if we will not pay the bill she will raise it by including another call of 10$ that the hotel didn't charged us yet. Shirlene response was angry and aggressive.

We were astounded from the threat. We have never been threatened like this as customers.Shirlene didn't let us talk with the manager about the service that was given by hers and added one more call to our bill.

We would like to note that this incident was exceptional, in every time we needed the hotel services we received all the help we could ask for.

“Wonderful time at the Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2010

After reading the reviews on here; we were concerned with our booking - but were pleasantly surprised upon arrival.

The hotel was absolutely breaktaking! The check~in was smooth and kind (not rude like mentioned here). We were offered an upgrade and did offer to take it as it was our first time in Vegas and our anniversary to boot. We were on the 26th floor and didn't have a view of the anything spectacular...but the room itself (one of the Red Rooms) was absolutely beautiful.
We dined at the Eiffel Tower restaurant for brunch ~ be prepared the food is to die for ~ and we came away quite "stuffed" ~ feeling like we needed a nap :-) We also had dinner at the Steakhouse...which served a plate sized Prime Rib that was so tender it melted in your mouth. The Eiffel tower ride offered some gorgeous views but I found that the enclosure (for protection) that it was hard to take pictures. The coupon book that you are given upon check in makes Vegas (and the ride) a little more 'enjoyable' (grin).
A must see is the "O" at the Bellagio...a wonderful performance by Cirque de Soleil :)
Make sure you try out the pastries in the Paris too, absolutely delightful! Check out the drinks at the Coyote Ugly as well ~~~
I will definitely be back!!!
