I know some people complain about hotels and how bad they are, but i keep things in perspective. This was LABOR DAY WEEKEND, i booked the hotel entirely too late, two days before, for under $75 after tax. You cannot BEAT that price for a last minute reservation. No hotels were going for under $120 a room, for even one star hotels. We stayed in room 302 i believe, at the end of the hall. (good for only two neighbors, one next to us, and one below us!)
This place was a nice queen size bed and a sleeper sofa. It had a dining table, fridge, microwave, and a sink with cupboards. The bathroom wasn't too bad either. Everything was in working and functional order, even the A/C! Sure, the breakfast wasn't that great, coffee (both species), hot water, an English muffin, condiments, a toaster, some yogurt, a microwave, and some cereals to choose from. HEY, IT'S INCLUDED!!! There was definitely nothing to sneeze at at this place, ignore the complainers. For the price I paid, i would certainly stay here again. I didn't rate it a 5 because, the bed wasn't the most perfect thing, but we didn't toss and turn too much, even with a bad back. Granted, it's not the Marriott (where we normally stay), but the beds and amenities were a perfect bang for the buck.
Back story, we stayed during labor day, which for all you non locals (we aren't), is the weekend they have the national "Nugget Rib fest/cook-off" in Reno, as well as the Burning Man festival. No rooms were available for over 50 miles for less than $120. This was the closest we could do to Reno for this cheap price this weekend!
Room Tip: As for a high floor, we didn't hear much of anything at all, and the room we stayed in was very...
