The Ramada Kearney is always a nice place to stay when I'm on business. For what they charge for a room it is a very good value. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I would recommend a cocktail at the elephant eye bar and the complimentary hot breakfast.

The Ramada has a decent workout room but there is also a great running trail next the motel. The trail is paved, very wide, and lit at night. Its about a two mile run to the west that leads to a park and a lake.

I have to agree with the other posters about the pool. I would not stay at the Ramada if I was there to swim.

I wish there was a restaraunt or they served food at night but there are several places to eat within walking distance.

Over all the Ramada in Kearney is an excellent value.

Do not stay here if your kids want to swim. Wondered why no one was in the pool, the water felt like 50a degrees. Dirty room also

this place is not only disgusting, but full of sketchy charachters. i got stuck here because i used an online bidding site (who will be hearing about it, as well as Ramada). I don't understand why hotel prices are so expensive in this random towns. Anyway, at check-in told clerk i wanted arenovated room away from 171, of course the room she gave me wasn't, so i had to go get another one. rust all over the bathroom, door handle peeling, etc. wearing my shoes around the room because i dont trust its cleanliness. and i just got here! i am going to check out the 'buffet' in the morning just to see what thats like. not sure if pets are allowed, but there is one by the main hall door that barks everytime it opens. gonna be a long night, im afraid.

toilet didn't flush properly, shower head water stream trickled out & couldn't adjust, no kleenex, paint on chair, furniture worn, lampshades had rips in them, mattresses sagged a lot in the middle, carpet had stains, color scheme is 70's, fire sprinkler system very visible, one of the rooms didn't get cleaned or bed made while there & only gave a $10 discount, entrance door A had a barnyard smell to it, omelet maker was hard to understand & first words out of his mouth were for your ticket - how about good morning then ask for ticket? only window in room gave a view of the roof & the mechanics, heard constant sound all night of the motors running. would not stay here again. Was in town for a convention & it was the only place available.
