This motel is definitely not a dump by any means as one other post suggested. Rooms were clean and were fairly modern looking. I chose this hotel because we were looking for a lower priced, medium quality hotel and I feel that is exactly what we found at this property. I wouldn't really call this a hotel as at least 50% of the rooms or more had exterior entrances. We booked 2 suites. One of the Suites was actually just two connecting hotel rooms with one room having 2 queen beds and the other room having 1 queen bed. Very nice for families with children and because it was actually 2 connecting rooms there were 2 bathrooms. This suite was in a part of the hotel with interior entrances. The other suite we booked was a two room smoking suite with the main entry room having 2 queen beds with a separate back bedroom with 1 queen bed. This unit had 1 bathroom and was in the wing of the hotel with exterior entrances. They gave us 4 breakfast coupons per room, and it was a pretty good breakfast. It was not a huge breakfast or full menu, but there was wait staff service and you could choose from one of 3 or 4 preset breakfast plates. There is also a decent indoor pool for the kids.

So disappointed. I booked this room because it was described as a "suite with two queen beds & two bathrooms" - perfect for our travels with our teenage daughter. This "suite" was actually two hotel rooms with the doors taken off in between, and I paid $127 including taxes for this??? They should not be charging anyone more than $60 for a room like this - old, and ugly. One room had the queen beds and a tv, and the other room had an old couch, dresser, with a refrigerator with a microwave on the top sitting next to it with a tv - DUMP! It smelled moldy, and old - uggggg! This room should never be described as a suite - call it what it is. The so-called exercise room had a treadmill that didn't work, and old equipment - hot tub was cold. Do not stay here - there are many other very nice places in Kearney, Nebraska to stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone! This hotel needs a complete overhaul. The only good part was that you received breakfast at Sydney's - a restaurant in the parking lot - the staff was very friendly and nice at Sydney's!

Nice and comfortable hotel with easy access and great restaurant on premises. Indoor pool recently remodeled and very attractive! Would stay again I pass through this area 3 to 4 times a year! Staff was very helpful.

Likes: The rooms here are clean and comfortable. They offer an indoor and outdoor pool. The restuarant and bar is top notch for an interstate hotel. Excellent steaks. Free hot breakfast. Nice bar.
Dislikes: You have to go outside to get to the indoor pool. brrrr! Free Breakfast is before 9am and it is for 2 adults per room only. If you have kids, you will have to pay for theirs. "Pet friendly" means watch where you step! People brought their dogs inside the lobby at check in. The front desk assoicate did a poor job. We waited a long time to check in to find out we got the wrong room. We went back, waited in line again and they still gave us a the wrong room. It was enough frustration that we will not stay here again. They closed the bar at 8pm on a Saturday night! We met at this hotel specifically for the bar in it. We were meeting relatives here for Easter and this sort of ruined our plans.
