It was quiet, clean, reasonably priced, and the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds we can remember (too many hotels think that a concrete slab is an adequate bed). The pool was very nice...there were full-length lawn chairs to lie on in the sun.
Food-wise, the complimentary breakfast was limited...either there WAS no hot food, or we missed it (we were there toward the end of the breakfast period). We had hard-boiled eggs, cereal, pastries, and bagels and were satisfied, if not impressed. That said, there's a Country Kitchen restaurant about 20 steps from the hotel, and it served up some fine food at a reasonable price (we arrived on "wing night" and had Buffalo-style wings for 35 cents each.
There was a 'fridge and microwave in the room, but both are stashed in the room's entertainment center...with no ventilation for the refrigerator, it was actually a little warm inside when we arrived, but it cooled off nicely when we left the door to the entertainment center open to allow some airflow.
The hotel is old-ish and is starting to show its age, but it was more than simply "adequate" for an overnight along the way.
