My husband and I spent one night here, but wish we could've spent more. Cozy farm house and excellent hosts. Breakfast was delicious! We were the only guests at the time, so we had our pick of rooms. The room we stayed in had its own bathroom, while the other rooms shared a bath. It is a ways out of town, but this was not a problem for us, and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. Previous reviewer's description is correct--it's just like staying at Grandma's!

“Little house on the prairie!”

Located a little ways off of Highway 20 on the outskirts of Chadron in a very peaceful prairie setting, this cozy little bed and breakfast is a real find. The owner promised over the phone that it would be "just like visiting grandma's house", and it was! Everything was just about perfect - the house was clean and neat, the beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of room. Breakfast was top-notch, too. It was fun chatting with the owner, a strong. energetic great-grandmother and lifelong Chadron native. We learned a little about the local western Nebraska culture, and experienced a brief hailstorm to boot! We'd definitely go back if we ever go through Chardon again.
