We had a great time at this hotel. The people were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed looking across the lake. What a beautiful area.

I made reservations for two room in January 2009 for a family reunion in late July 2009. I called today to get another room and they don't even have records of my two reservations. Kay, who answered the phone, did not even apologize. Expedia was not much help either, since it was only a reservation and no money changed hands. A pox on both their houses!

My daughter and I stayed at this motel and although the view of the lake is
really terrific, the room was filthy. The maid did not clean our room, make the beds, bring clean towels, etc. on day 2 of our stay. When I called the front desk to inform them that our beds were unmade and we had no clean towels, I was told to come to the front desk and get my own towels. There was whisker remnants on the bathroom faucet where it appears multiple people had shaved and the shavings fell into the broken faucet handle, the toilet was dirty, the carpet was disgusting. I called around all over town but could not find another hotel with a vacancy. I complained to the front desk which was totally ineffective. The last day of our stay there, as we were leaving, I saw the maid sitting on one of the beds in the room next door, drink a soda and watching TV. I wonder why our room wasn't cleaned for 2 days straight? I called the company that owns Bayview Inn and was treated exactly how I thought that I would be.......rudely and ineffectively. I was told that if I was so unhappy, I should have gotten a room in another hotel. When I told the "mediator" that there wasn't another vacancy in a 20 mile radius, she didn't care at all. The Bayview Inn is grossly filthy, stinks and you'll be making your own beds(PS. bring your own clean towels because you aren't getting any there).

We were recently in Polson, and trying to locate lodging. We checked the local hotels, with no luck, due to a softball tournament in town. The Bayview Inn, had a smoking room available, we thought we could handle it, upon entering the room the smoke was overcoming. We returned to front desk, and the clerk was very helpful, understood our concern of the smelly smoked room. While they had nothing else to offer us, he kindly called around to other lodging places, and found us a room at the Circle P Ranch Bed and Breakfast / Vacation Rentals. The Bayview Inn went the extra mile in locating a place for us, and we are very greatful. The Circle P Ranch was awesome. The owners are very nice, continental breakfast was yummie, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our nature walk around the 20 acres, and were able to feed the sheep and pet the llamas. We sat outside on the deck until late evening enjoying the lake and mountain views, as well as having our coffee on the deck. This would not have been made possible, if the Bayview Inn had not taken the time and called around for us. Thank you to Bayview Inn, and Circle P Ranch....
