We really liked this place, despite its slight seediness. All of the rooms have "themes" and we were given what must have been intended to be a hunting theme, but looked more like the Bates Motel, due to the stuffed waterfowl adorning the walls. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Last minute attempt to book a room outside Glacier for Labor Day weekend meant a slim group of choices. I liked the low cost of B&W, and it's reviews were mixed. We were a little scared when we pulled up, it's on a pretty rough stretch of highway, and doesn't look like much from the outside. We were much reassured -- the desk clerk was supernice, and the lobby was very clean.

We got stuck in the "annex" around the corner from the main part of the hotel. It looks super sketchy, and there was some kind of action going on all night, so we were kind of nervous about our loaded car out front. But it turned out OK, and the room was large and spotlessly clean. The only down side was kind of noisy outside, woke us up early.

Begrudgingly stayed here for one night at the end of July before a camping trip in Glacier NP when virtually everything else was booked or way out of my price range. Was very pleasantly surprised at the spotless room and pillowtop bed. Obviously the room decoration could be improved, but again, the room was spotless and comfortable. Needed earplugs (which I had) because my room was situated next to an all-night diner, which is frequented by bikers. Booked another night for my return from camp in early August to decompress in a comfortable bed. Again my room was very clean and comfortable. If setting is not your priority, but a clean, comfortable place to sleep is, this is the place for you.

We were nervous about staying at the Blue and White after reading some of the reviews. We asked to see the room before arranging for payment, and were very pleased with the clean bathroom, laminate flooring and quaint decorations in the Bear theme room. The large room was very adequate for a short stay. I was glad I brought my own pillow. This budget Motel has been owned and operated by the same family through several generations and they are upgrading it room by room.
