In response to your request , I must say that my wife and I were happy to reserve our stay at the OUTLAW INN in Kalispell, MT at a reasonable rate with HotelsOne.com . We had stayed at the OUTLAW INN in Kalispell, MT several times in the past, and always found the accommodations to be very nice; however, we were not pleased one bit with the accommodations this trip.
We were surprised to find that our credit card account was charged several days before we even planned to arrive at the OUTLAW INN in Kalispell, MT…..we overlooked that point citing the past experiences we had staying at the OUTLAW INN in Kalispell, MT. So, when we arrived to check-in our first night on Friday August 12, 2011 we were appalled at the condition of our room #106.…the carpet appeared to have a musty mold smell to it as though the room had been flooded recently. The window was sealed closed making it impossible to allow fresh air into the room. Spider nests adorned the corners of the room and under and around the AC unit. All the furnishing were caked with dust ( a small sewing needle was found on the table )…obviously hadn’t been cleaned in some time and left to decay. It appeared that the room also had a very bad security issue finding the inside door frame was broken and the security chain inoperable. Many of the lights were either burnt out or inoperable. The bathtub/shower was a disgrace.
My wife and I voiced our objections to the two female attendants at the check-in counter. They told us that they COULD NOT refund our credit card since it was done on-line with HotelsOne.com and that they COULD NOT put us in a different room. We were forced to stay since there were not other accommodations available. The next morning at check-out, we again voiced our objections to the young man at check-out ( I believe his name was Robert ). He told us that the hotel purposely holds out several rooms for folks that are not pleased with their rooms so as to move them to a better room….this was not allowed to us and he assured that the manager would be informed and that our next night stay on Sunday August 14, 2011 would be better.
That was our first night of Friday August 12, 2011.

We found little difference our second night of Sunday August 14, 2011 We had to wait a few minutes when we checked in to allow housekeeping to finish with the room. Upon entering the room we again found spider webs and nests and a toilet with fecal and urine stains. It was apparent that HOUSEKEEPING is lacking at the OUTLAW INN in Kalispell, MT. My wife had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the room herself adequately . We again had no choice but to stay in #103 and could not be refunded because HotelsOne.com had already charged our credit card long before we even arrived.
My last words on this matter….My wife and I were and are very disappointed in how we were treated by the two female check-in attendants, we received no response from the manager as was indicated from attendant Robert, housekeeping was atrocious, security was a major issue, and NO RECOURSE for our charged credit card.

This place was the last option in Kalispell and I know why. The sheets were dirty, as well as the carpet, bathroom, tub, etc. The door was broken. The tv was broken. We slept in s clothes on top of sheets long enough to get fitful sleep and leave. This may have been an "historic" gem at one point in time, but there is not charm left. Gross hotel.

This used to be one of the nicest places to stay in Kalispell: a long, long time ago. It is now dated, dirty, and really run-down. Avoid. There are nicer places to stay for little or no more money. Staff and service was poor. I would never stay there again. I would opt for one of the cheap, low-budget chains first.

We just returned from 3 nights at the Outlaw Hotel (actually called by their sign the 'Outlaw Inn'). We were greeted by very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The young man working evenings that we chatted with the most was just WONDERFUL! The Outlaw Inn is an older hotel that is slowly be updated. We were put on the 3rd floor that had just been re-opened from having some minor updates done to it. We had a suite (#305) that had loft style ceilings, 2 queen beds, couch, small table/chairs, large hutch/dresser and was still very spacious. While yes it does still need some updating, it was very, very clean. I don't know as there were many other guests there as it seemed as though we had the whole wing to ourselves and 2 of the 3 mornings we went to the pool/hotub we were there all alone! Once again the pool/hottub area is in need of some updating but it too was keep very clean. Fabulous hotel in a great location for seeing the sights of Kalispell! Thanks Outlaw Inn for an AWESOME holiday!
