Hairs not your own on the bed, in the bathroom. Overall just nasty. Do not waste your time.

We made reservations here based on the proximity to the family we were visiting. It is a very old run down motel. The carpet was filthy, the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling and was missing the battery, the single bed in the room only had wheels on the right side and was tilted at an angle so you felt like you were going to fall off the bed. The sheets on both beds were threadbare and there was what looked like blood spots on the sheets and blanket of the double bed. The bathroom door wouldn't close and was so small that if you were sitting on the toilet, you were practically sitting under the sink and there was less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper when we arrived. When we went to the office to tell the manager that we would not be staying there for the rest of the weekend and listed all the reasons above, she simply smiled and said thanks. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money and stay at the Comfort Inn! They have a friendly staff, comfortable beds and free breakfast.
This is a small motel. It allows pets, but not cats. The rooms are very small, but clean and well-equipped (frig, micro). For the price, a good utilitarian motel, especially if you have pets along.
One of the few times Tripadvisor has let me down. Based on the Tripadvisor rating & not being a fan of either Comfort or Days Inn, I took a chance on this & booked it for our one night stop over. I had my doubts when we drove on to the property - not wonderful looking & not in a very good part of town. Bleach smell was over powering as we opened the door to this tiny room. True it had a fridge - it was being defrosted & water was dripping all down the front of it. "carpet" didn't appear very clean, 1very small window with a venetian blind that didn't work. Bathroom looked clean enough. 2 chairs (1 doubling as a night table), 1 wire coat hanger, TV & tiny desk/ table crammed into room. We went for dinner then checked into the Comfort Inn. Made the stop over in Glendive a little pricey paying for 2 rooms but I know I wouldn't have had a wink of sleep at the Parkwood. Give the Comfort Inn, Glendive, a chance - true halls need updating & breakfast was no great shakes but our room was roomy & clean.
This place is very clean and tended to by a couple who love taking care of their clients. The non-smoking room was a genuine non-smoking room without any hint of previous smokers at all! The bed was new and firm, and the TV was new and had cable with a remote. The shower and toilet were clean. It truly was obvious that the owners care about their enterprise and their customers. It sits next to a nice small park on the river where you can have a takeout meal while the sun sets. The husband and wife owners were very friendly and very helpful with "locals insider tips" for meals and retaurants. And on top of that, it is cheaper than any other place in Glendive! I will stay here every time I travel from Minneapolis, MN to ski in Big Sky, Montana. This place is truly a joyful find.
