Don't stay here!
Reserved 2 beds - room only had one and was $9.00 more than quoted. Water is brown colored and should be tested. No maid service - said she only emptied the garbage if needed and left a coffee packet. Decided to check out one day early - following their policy-had to go back 4 times to get a credit because no desk clerk could give refunds????!!! Then she said she would call the cops for harassing her employees about a credit! Unbelievable! Credit was issued to someone else card - not mine! Do Not Stay Here!

The previous reviewer definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I don't think that could be blamed on the Riverside Inn and it's staff.

The in is about an hour's drive west of Yellowstone and if you're on a tight budgeted vacation, an excellent choice for comfort and convenience with affordability.

We stayed in one of the kitchenette cottages which was obviously an old storefront business that had been remarkably refurbished. The owners have tastefully decorated in quaint period antiques and eclectic memorabilia there there were all the modern conveniences of TV, fridge, stove top, microwave and a coffeemaker (which we used and enjoyed) and especially the wifi connection.

The staff/owners were delightfully helpful and friendly, providing us with travel information and directions, too.

We're on a 5 day trip, staying in a different place each night and the Riverside Inn was the last night of our trip and the best of all the places we've been. We will definitely return.

We stay one night (2 rooms) at the Riverside Inn while driving back home. The poor clerk was there from 6pm until 8am the next day - she looked like being 16 or 17 but worked 14hours a day and still was very helpful.

The Coffee maker didn't work, the shower was broken, 2 light bulbs were dead, TV was so old we didn't bother putting it on. Between stains and marks on the carpet, a damaged steel door and several other problems we were quite frustrated as we couldn't cancel without paying for the full night.

The motel is next to a truck parking lot... nice to hear them starting making huge noise at 3am!!!

Oh, don't dream on the name, Riverside means Railraod track side... nothing to do with the river.
