We stayed here with our 14 year old grandson and had a room with a queen bed and a roll-away(sagged a bit but at 14, he would sleep on anything!) in a clean, nicely furnished room attached to the Pottery Shop. Very clean and comfortable. Great shower and nice towels. TV service is very sporadic according to the owner--only 5-6 stations, and the one we wanted to watch came in very fuzzy with a distracting backround noise---but we managed to see our program choice for 2 hours. Don't plan on TV to entertain you. We'd eaten before arrival at the Whistle Stop Restaurant(on road in from St Mary's on north end of East Glacier---good ribs! Had breakfast a tiny restaurant across from train station in East Glacier--huge pancakes!!! Don't order 3 unless you can eat a horse!
Trains are frequent at station 1 block from Brown House, but with A/C on, we didn't hear a thing(and I am a train freak----I HATE staying anywhere close to trains, but these didn't blow their whistles, so I was ok).
